Are they really just "anti-recovery" or are they objecting to being harmed and abused in the name of treatment?

Are they "anti-recovery" or do they just believe that bodily autonomy also applies to medical care, and that people should be able to opt out of one type of medical treatment (for any reason) without being denied medical care that they actually want? Are they "anti-recovery" or just making legitimate criticisms about the inaccurate assumption that a treatment nominally being available means it will work for everyone (and is affordable to everyone and...), and therefor if someone doesn't get healthier it means they haven't been trying?
