YouTube really doesn’t pay that much like the ads before a video only pay if someone clicks on the ad or watches it for the whole 30 seconds. If a youtubers video gets 1,000 views it’ll pay a few dollars and the youtuber themselves only gets a small cut of that so around $1. A lot of big youtubers would get 1 million views on a video but that only adds up to roughly $1000. Thats one reason why a successful youtuber could make an app or write a book or release a beauty line or an album, I’m not saying they’re in it for the money many of them aren’t but you can’t hate on them for the money they make.
