“Hi.” He smiled and kissed her cheek, letting her inside. “They’re in the back.” Gabe nodded in that general direction and shut the door behind her. “Tell Potter I’m sorry in advance if she starts crying about a horse. I feel his pain.” He walked with her to the door leading to the deck. “She stopped talking about the baby, though. I’m sure she’ll be fine eventually. Ava was okay when we brought Abi home. I mean, I’m pretty sure she’s tried to kill her cousin a few times, but that’s her uncle’s fault.” He smirked and walked outside with her. “How are you feeling?” ; @parumvictoriae​

♕ — Victoire was about to say her thank yous when Gabe said something about a horse and her brow furrowed for a moment. “I think you’ll have to apologize to Teddy yourself. The moment Iris mentions anything about a new pet, I’m the first and the fastest to say yes. You haven’t had the pleasure of going to my cottage. But it’s basically a zoo.” She chuckled softly as she followed behind her friend. “It’s an adjustment but I think she’ll be fine. I mean, after James was born, we gained an army of cousins in the blink of an eye. We don’t talk about it but we are a family of breeders at the end of the day.” She snorted at her own joke and then shrugged. “Tired all the time. Feel like a walking blow fish, but I’m well other than that.”

Teddy smirked when she held her hands up in defense and tugged her closer to him. He nodded in agreement. “She is a tiny version of me. Unfortunately.” Teddy put a hand on her stomach and gave her a teasing look. “Maybe this one’ll be like their mum.” He smiled and leaned down to kiss her again. When he pulled back, he looked around the nursery, still wrapping his head around the fact they were having another baby soon. “I don’t know about her getting over it, though,” he continued, looking back at his wife. “I hated my brothers until I was off to Hogwarts. It’s off and on now,” he joked. “Lily’s the only one I continuously claim.”

♕ — “Well that gives me so much hope,” Victoire chuckled as she gently nudged him with her elbow. So much had changed for them in the past year and her mind was still trying to play catch up. Though, she did know, she wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. She was the happiest she had been and was glad that the universe seemed to be kind to her. “I still think she’ll come around,” she said. “But I still don’t know if I like the color we picked out, now that I see it on the walls.”

Teddy walked to the nursery and peeked inside. “You’re not move the crib again, are you?” He smirked as he walked in and stepped up behind his wife, wrapping his arms around her. “I think our daughter doesn’t hate us anymore. Maybe. She just said three words to me,” he winced, looking down at Vic. “Dad did say she was my karma.”

♕ — Victoire held up her hands innocently to show that she hadn’t touched anything even though her fingers itched to. The nursery wasn’t quite where she wanted and she couldn’t figure out why. At his next statement, Victoire couldn’t help but to chuckle. “I think once she meets him or her, she’ll forgive us. I fell in love when I met my little siblings,” She leaned up and kissed his cheek. “But he’s right, she’s just a tiny version of you.”
