I can only assume that you've read Just Kids, but I'm afraid I don't know what else you've read of Patti's. However, I'm wondering: What do you think of Just Kids in comparison to her other published work?
besides just kids i have read her poetry books; babel, witt, auguries of innocence, trois... comparing just kids to her poetry feels unnecessary, they are such different works. just kids is an autobiography, and i think it’s a great one at that. it’s beautifully written.
This project is truly divine. Thank you for sharing so much of Patti's beauty and raw electricity with us. I am so grateful that others exist that recognize the full extent of Patti's magic.
for some reason tumblr doesn’t let me know of new messages in my inbox, so i’m sorry this is horribly late! anyway, thank you so much! i’m happy you like this blog.
I went to see Mapplethorpe photography exhibition in Helsinki, Finland, and there were beautiful photos of Patti. There was also an interview and short movie starring Patti. It was wonderful. There was also few pics of her in Bob Gruen exhibition.
i saw the same exhibition! i took a huge amount of photos of the “still moving” short film playing on the big screen.
