Today THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER premiered in AUSTRALIA at the SYDNEY FILM FESTIVAL 2016. We found some wonderful comments/reviews on Twitter that were posted after this first screening that we would like to share with you. Great read! #ProudFans

Glen Falkenstein: “Best score I’ve heard in ages #thechildhoodofaleader #sydfilmfest great performance from #RobertPattinson could have used more screen time.”

Conor Bateman: “THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER was a very strange delight. Narratively sparse, all tone and mood. Much to unpack. #SydFilmFest.”

Sam McCosh: “THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER was a complete surprise. What a strange, interesting beast. Stylised, precision film making. I dug it #SydFilmFest.”

Felix’s Garbage Son: “THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER is the best film of the fest so far. Fark that score #sydfilmfest. It’s audacious and the final sequence exhilarating.”

Andrew Buckle: “CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: Brady Corbet has worked with the world’s best directors- this is a film to rival them. A strange, mesmerizing assault. Going to take a while to shake CHILDHOOD - looks incredible, that score was a hard punch to the face. Best Director at Venice, yep dig it. Wishing I was watching CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER again.”

Sydney RobFan: “#TheChildhoodofaLeader was fabulous and mesmerising movie. Plus the music really helped set the scenes. Rob was fab, but needed more scenes.”

FalkenScreen: “My #TheChildhoodofaleader review- Scott Walker’s score A++ #RobertPattinson stellar but sadly underused. Robert Pattinson pops his head in occasionally in a markedly proficient turn which should have merited him more screen time. A shame.”
