I met Dasia three or four years ago through my work at Rosemary Children’s Services. In the time we shared at RCS, I got to know her well. Dasia has a huge heart, a good head on her shoulders, and is honestly one of the funniest people I’ve met in recent years. Dasia’s laugh is infectious (and loud haha). She cooked me countless meals on my shifts, and they were damn good. We shared a lot of ups and downs and she has a very special place in my heart.

Here’s the bummer: this past May just before her 20th birthday, Dasia was diagnosed with leukemia.

PLEASE PLEASE give what you can to help Dasia. Anything, $5 even, helps.

She will be the first one to tell you she’s had a hard enough life… Yet through all the difficult tribulations she’s always come out on top with a smile and a hearty laugh.
