Association Management Group honored Piedmont Triad International Airport Chair, Steve Showfety, of blessed memory, at the 2020 Big Hair Ball. Nevertheless, the fact that the court considered the amount of the indebtedness in determining if a legal action was conscionable creates a concern for those considering small collection actions. Associations foreclosing to collect small debts or considering doing so, should have a very specific discussion with their lawyers about it right away.
