In the year 2043 in a continent known by all...
Lonely roads traveled by peculiarly talented people delivering the message of one a many great rulers, was one of the stories that emerged from the once great Inca Empire. The Tahuantisuyo as the Inca Empire was known as, stretched from the northwest of Argentina, it passed Chile, Ecuador the southern parts of Colombia to western and south central Bolivia. It’s capital lay in Cusco Peru, which was the amazing political, administrative and military center of the Empire. Once a united nation South America enjoyed the plentiful production of its corn crops and potatoes and a surplus in gold and other rich minerals. This was the Golden age of the Continent.
The Chaskis were a group of talented runners, with an immense stamina that served as royal messengers to the Sapa Inca during the height of the Inca Empire. These messengers would take messages or objects to other regions of the empire. This system was facilitated by purpose built roads and bridges that were created along the Andes Mountains which connected what now is Peru, Ecuador, some regions of Colombia, Chile and Bolivia. Their speedy times for delivering were surely the result of a tightly knit system of roads but it was the relay system that they developed that helped their operation span throughout most of the continent.
Now after 30 years of the notoriously devastating Middle East/Anglo American war a new age of renaissance and remembrance has emerged from the south. The new Tahuantinsuyo has been reconstituted and many Cities are finding a home in their long lost but surely reawakened Inca Empire. It is the year 2043 the nations of the former Empire have put their heads together and have created an amazing tourism program that collectively stretches almost the entire span of the continent following the routes of the Chaskis.
The new Tahuantinsuyo has now concluded that it will give access to the people of the world to the great achievement that is this system of roads and casually a wonderful way to learn about the continent and its history. As an ode to the Chaski system the New Tahuantinsuyo reservation has been created and it will span along all the roads and bridges of what was once the route of the Chaskis. Now it is to be called, the “Route of the Inca.” The New Tahuantinsuyo reservation has been refitted with the latest technology in solar panels, relay stations have been located where it is believed the original ones sat. We have not had enough archeological data to make a confident statement but after scanning the earth core with our latest devices, we found that there are a number of factors that can support our decision.
“Messengers” as the tour guides are called have been appointed for each relay station and they would interchangeably man the hovercrafts or drones that will stop at each relay station for the next stage and get energized if needed. The Messengers have been outfitted with survival kits in case there is an emergency and several relay stations have them too as well as restrooms. Each relay station runs on a set of multi panel solar cells resulting in an effective and sustainable way of distributing energy to the vehicles.
Each Hover Craft will run on battery power that will be re-energized as needed when a relay station has been reached. The relay stations will still be called Tambos and messengers will carry a modernized version of the ancient artifacts that Chaskis carried, equipped with survival kit, and other essential items.
The potential for sightseeing and the extensive amount of information that can be shared in this vehicle using these ancient roads can be a very interesting way to enrich the cultural knowledge of the foreigners and visitors that take part of our tour. Of course the variety of landscapes and natural wonders to be seen on this excursion are one of the many points that will stand out. The vehicles to be used are being developed as we speak have the power to resist the odd topography of the Andes. This is an enormous project that has been highly commended in an international level this is a new age and its time for a “Trip to the New World”
