from the moment anastasia opened her eyes , she was spoiled and adored by her parents . the youngest of the tremaine sisters , she practically held the world in her palm . she was showered with the finest clothes and toys , and wanted for nothing . as a child , she was very pompous , and the majority of her friends weren’t her actual friends . she often bought their friendship and attention . she thrived off of the jealousy and admiration of others .
her world fell apart when her parents got divorced . after cheating , her mother threw her father out of the house , packed up hers and her daughter's belongings and moved them away . it wasn’t long after that she was remarried. after her mother;s decision , there was not so hidden animosity on her end . for now there were two people who she’d share the attention with , and that wasn’t something she liked to share . for the first time , anastasia was jealous of someone else . she was jealous of cinderella . sure , she had all the things she could ever want and more , but there was something missing . something money couldn’t buy and that was real , genuine love . love is something she sought out for so long , and not having received any of it , she isn’t sure if she ever will , or if she’s worthy of it .

anastasia is very arrogant , selfish and vain . she likes to think the entire world revolves around her , and is known to be very dramatic and childish if she doesn’t get her way . hardly ever being told no , it’s a bad trait she carried with herself into adulthood . she isn’t good with friendships or relationships , mainly because she had no genuine connections growing up .

belle was raised by her single father , maurice . her mother died during childbirth , and her father being deeply in love with her mother and unable to see his life with anyone else , decided to never remarry . he instead raised belle alone the two of them living in a run down trailer in the trailer park . she helped out around the house to make things easier , and as soon as she was old enough , she got her first job at the bookstore . the same bookstore she eventually worked up to being a manager in .
growing up without a mother was hard , but her father did good at playing both parts . he went around to other mothers in the neighborhoods , asking them to give him lessons on hairstyling and picking out clothes . he was so happy the first time he braided her hair successfully . the two of them are truly best friends , and did everything together . morning bike rides , shopping , sunday feasts , played sports . even doing the small things like running errands with her father made her happy .
she never had that many friends . a lot of people viewed belle as weird , or a loner . she was the girl who sat in the corner lost in the pages of the books in her hand . she did try to make some friends , but she really didn’t need them . she was always very independent , and her imagination ran wild enough to keep herself entertained . she spent a great deal of time in the library . she swears she’s read every book in there , even the ones that didn’t seem too interesting .
school was something she was very passionate about . she loves to learn , and excelled in all of her classes . she knew she had to do well in school to achieve her dream of getting her and her father into a cute little house in the south side , and land a job as a teacher . everything was planned out in her head , until she hit a bump in her plan . her father was diagnosed with cancer. only in her first year of college , belle made the decision to put her schooling on hold . forcing her father to quit his job , she took up a second one and took on the task of taking care of him . money is still currently tight with her father’s medical bills , and she is getting desperate for money . that doesn’t stop her from putting on a fake smile however , and going about as if everything is just fine .
she has a golden lab named ollie , who is only a few years old . he is a pain in the ass , and a master escape artist . belle is always chasing him around the town , trying to get him back home or at the very least out of everyone’s yards .
PERSONALITY :
she is a pretty confident and outspoken person . not in a way that she’s rude about it , but belle is not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for her beliefs , herself , or other people . she doesn’t really concern herself with the opinions of others , and doesn’t really like being told what to do . she has always done her own thing , not afraid of being herself . she is stubborn and set in her ways . once she makes up her mind , there is no changing it .
belle would give someone the shirt off her back if she saw someone in need . she’s always willing to lend a helping hand , even if its someone she doesn’t know them . she doesn’t like to ask for help herself , so she tends to put others before herself . for the most part , she is a very friendly , and good hearted person . she likes to make the best out of everything , and tries to keep a positive mindset . she is definitely the mom friend , and the type of person to bake someone sweets to welcome them to town .
