âOf course, Lucas makes me happy, and Iâm sure being around him makes him just as gleeful. It was during the Gnasty situation that we bonded, also, yeahâwe probably wouldâve all gotten along.âÂ
Halvor grabbed their wrist, pulling it their hands away from their arms, dragon claws could puncture scales easily, they all acted tough at one point but, heâd stare right into Gunnarâs eyes, giving them a warm smile, they were tough but that didnât mean they were allowed to suck up all those emotions, it was natural, they were allowed to be like this.Â
Halvor especially was like this all the way up to the Gnasty Gnorc invasion, the crystalizing had messed with the mental stability of many dragons, and had caused many to switch from their prior demeanors, Halvor especially, who became very vocal in his emotions, it wasnât healthy at all to force in emotions like this, and, it was a very personal thing.
âGunnarâplease, just let it all out, we may be Peace Keepers but forcing emotions in isnât healthy.âÂ
He was glad that Halvor was there to stop him from hurting himself even more. Heaven knows that he was guilty of doing it many times, the aging scars on his arms and wrists were constant reminders of the heavy pain he carried in his heart.
Seeing Halvorâs smile, however, did bring him some comfort, if only for a moment.Â
Gunnarâs eye was bloodshot from holding back his tears, and he covered his face with his hand. His sobs were stifled, as he tried to keep his emotions under check. But it wasnât long before the dragon broke down entirely, the pain tearing from his throat in the form of a deafening roar that shattered the silence in the canyon. Finally, he slumped down, burying his face against Halvorâs chest and collapsed. âS-She ... sheâs supposeâta be here, Halvor. Its because oâthose fucking Gnorcs thaâ sheâs gone. R-Raine ... gave up her life âfer our land. Anâ I wasnâ man enough âta letâcha all meet her. Its ... fucking killing me.â
