I know I'm drawing Branch in bright colors lately, but I do wanna give him some earthy greens and brown themed outfits at some point.

Also, TAILS. How do we feel about them? I like them, but only half the time. I'm not the biggest fan of turning trolls into straight up cats/dogs/animals (not that that isn't cute/cool either!! Just not my fav thing to do personally, but I appreciate some of the designs/ideas I come across) I like that they're like weird little fae people, with their humanish faces and bodies but not really, y'know? Same with paw pads. Super cute, but something I only consider half the time.

I was listening to Devils Backbone by the civil wars and got inspired, so take a listen to that if you want a vibe check on this au.

Poppy is a runaway, trying to find herself outside of what her upbringing told her she was to be. She gets lucky her first few meetings outside on her own, then she runs into Branch while trying to ‘borrow supplies’ from their camp. Luckily for Poppy, she’s been trained to talk her way out of a bad situation and is quickly spared.

But anyways,… I’m rambling good bye good bye :3

I haven't been drawing trolls lately :,) I'm unmotivated But I still think about them all the time!! Esp Branch cause he's my fav. And I'm still unsure of how I wanna draw my trolls, but I think I'm thinking too hard about it.

I was exploring what kid-Branch was like after everything. Obviously at some point he started to isolate himself. Imagine if that happened right after Rosiepuff, so pretty early on. Little gremlin troll running around dirty and mean haha I think its sad and adorable
