He smells smoke. No, it wasnât him who set the fire.Â
Okay I gotta say it. the way chaos is trying to learn romantic things in order to give them or do them for luche is the sweetest fucking thing.
He does try.Â
[Mention: @battlexfodder ]
OOC: Canât get the image of Chaos having a bath out of my head now.Â
You love Luche?
âHe is intensely important to me. I enjoy his person.â He nodded to himself in understanding.Â
astralxking:
Noctis didnât doubt that the supposed harbinger of the end would be a powerful ally to have at his side, but the other had offered it so easily, it almost made Noctis concerned. âDo you want to, though? I mean, your help is greatly appreciated, but itâs going to be some tough battles. Iâm not going to force you to fight if there are other things youâd rather do, you know?â Chaos had mentioned that he liked to learn new things and he obviously liked to explore. Noctis wouldnât take that from him. It wasnât to say that Chaos couldnât still do that if he wished to join him in this fight, but there would less time for it, at least.
âIf you really wish to fight by our side though, then Iâd be⊠glad to have you.â
âI can do as I please; I would not offer my aid otherwise.â Yes - he would do it - in the very least it would quell his boredom for a while and allow him to be distracted from other things such as the crying of tortured lost souls and things of that sort. âI would very much like to help. I have been looking for...â How had Vincent put it? â...a purpose. It can be my purpose.âÂ
warofthebeasts:
âDr. CrescentâŠâ His voice snarled the name with bitterness; oh, he did know that name. The mother who did not love me enough to protect me from a life of misery. In a moment, however, the hate and bitterness were reined in, for it was neither the time nor the place for it.
âI have heard of both, though I know little of them.â
âVincent knew her well.â He admitted softly, rolling his shoulders, attempting to recall more but failing rather swiftly;Â âIt is all a mass complexity... As are you - as am I.â
heartonmytrigger:â
Prompto hummed to himself, thinking over Chaosâ words. If he hadnât lived in a world were daemons existed, one person could heal away a weird disease without medical supplies, and a whole family lines could magic the fuck out of things, he honestly probably wouldnât have believed the other. Probably could have chalked this guy up as an edgy dude trying to seem more cool than he is. Though there was this small bundle of doubt in the back of his mind because the other hadnât done anything to prove his words; he was just somewhat scared to voice it in case Chaos found it insulting and proved it in a way that might have ended up with him possibly hurt to some degree or another.
âWell⊠Iâm not sure if Iâll be great at helping with that. I mean I know a lot of shit, but as you can tell, itâs kind of difficult for me to explain them.â Prompto shrugged, âBut I can try where I can. Just be mindful that you might come out more confused than before.â There was a grin on his face now as he laughed mostly at himself.
He could sense it - the otherâs unease, his uncertainty. How intense were Chaosâ senses that he could pick up most things; his inhuman being far more than it appeared to be. Regardless, he listened to what the other spoke of, weighing up all offered. âI am always confused.â He admitted; âHumanity is... complex.â Oh yes - he had learned ever so much since he was graced with his being, but he had intensely more to go before he could even be considered functional. Fingers flexed, eyes glancing around to see others lingering close, evidently attending the races as the two had previously. But oh, his thoughts were cut short with the agitating motions of a fly around his person and but with a reach and twist of his fingers, long nails painted black offering further effect, a small void appeared and simply sucked the fly inward; then all was gone. Vanished. Ah - much better.  Â
astralxking:
Noctis nodded his head at that. âYeah, that sounds good. I mean, if you donât want to come meet my friends before that?â he offered, idly wondering what Chaos would be comfortable with doing. The other was already helping him and he wanted his friends to understand that there was more behind the other male than appearance alone.
âThank you, by the way. We barely still know each other and yet youâre willing to do such a thing for me⊠I wonât forget your kindness,â and he intended to return it in any way possible. It wasnât often that Noctis made new friends, but he did feel like he had a friend in Chaos; however odd their friendship may be.
âI am not... very good at being... social.â That was, he had not yet learned to properly talk and converse and the last thing he wanted was to cause mass discomfort for the other male simply because the random ethereal being he met in the middle of nowhere couldnât hold a conversation without getting confused at every reference. âIt is fine-â He could sense that the other was true in his intentions and in the very least he would allow some aid in his endeavours. Â
brigadicrs:
Loqi was on the defense and more than ready to lash out again, though Chaosâ words made him hesitate. â⊠Learning?â he replied, faint confusion showing on his face, together with curiosity. The other male was learning by⊠insulting him and his work? Or did Loqi misunderstand the otherâs poor choice of words for insults? For some reason then he believed it mostly to be the latter. The way the other spoke and acted⊠seemed so far from what Loqi was familiar with. The other was undoubtedly a foreigner, but whilst he looked Lucian, then he also didnât. He surely didnât act much like a Lucian either.
âIt is not the ideal way to get to Peace, no, but Niflheim was left no choice. Lucis decided they wished to go the harsh route and so we complied. It is the fastest way to get to peace, however ââ and in the bigger picture it will save countless lives in the long run if we donât drag it out. Itâs far from desirable, but Lucis has held too much power for too long. Itâs time we put an end to it and give power back to the people instead of one selfish individual. That is mine and Niflheimâs goal,â or so he was led to believe. Loqi was quite blindsided by Niflheimâs true purposes after all -â having been manipulated and lied to ever since he first joined the army.
âWhere are you from, exactly? You seem to lack knowledge of Niflheim, but not only Niflheim. You seem quite clueless to the war, to the happenings in both Lucis and Niflheim. Are you from Accordo?â that seemed unlikely as well. Just⊠who was the other male?
Chaos didnât actually understand that he was agitating and distressing the other with his questions and general being; he simply came to the conclusion that the male before him was simply agitated and snappy by nature. Indeed, the harbinger had much to learn when it came to social interactions and understanding the consequences of certain words and vocal tones. Intently did he listen; the otherâs explanation of what he believed to be the right path indeed locking itself within his consciousness for further consideration and understanding at a later date. Each conversation, each utterance, each small meanderings; helped. Every ounce of experience allowed for learning. âI am from the planet.â He explained; indeed speaking utter truth in a massively literal sense, but it could also be construed as him being rather sarcastic. Not his intention, of course. âI was woken before I should have been... Nosy scientists. I shouldnât be here. But I am... I have to learn. I have to understand.â Yes - and he was seemingly making quite the mess of it.Â
battlexfodder replied to your post: Hunger pains were horrendously uncomfortable.
Luche offers the harbinger some spicy, Galahdian-style stew.
Heâs going to eat it; just because itâs from Luche. Delicious as though it is, he would much prefer a human leg or something of the sort.
ravusnightblossom:
âââââ A single eyebrow twitching at the implied adjective, Ravus closed his eyes and took a few slow breaths, reminding himself once again that this was all a brand new learning experience for Chaos. Patience was not one of Ravusâ stronger elements, but it seemed that it would be necessary for him to master it now. Plus, he suddenly had the urge to prove him wrong. âFine,â he muttered. âFractious it is.âÂ
Eyes opening, he idly watched across the room as the waitress was preparing their drinks inside the open door of the kitchen. âAnd no, you do not require a reason to intentionally be rude. I am simply informing you that it is.â Ravus shrugged slightly. It was the harbingerâs choice on how he chose to present himself, after all. âBut you may be faced with ill-tempered consequences, should you choose to be.â    Â
Contentedly did Chaos lean backward into his seat and continue his observations, even watching through the window in order to see and observe those walking past and running their errands for the day. He found it all so intriguing! The little elements of human life of which he could learn were in their thousands. Exciting! âI can deal with ill-tempered consequences-â He uttered, stumbling over the final words pronunciation. He would learn; one little bit at a time. After all - if anything became too much Chaos could either vanish or he could suck the supposed ill-tempered person into the void. One was certainly a more restrained decision than the other one.  Â
thexrightxhand:
Ignis wasnât really sure if he should ask another time for the name of the stranger. Same time, he doesnât want to be impolite and forcing him about revealing his name. The sudden smile was almost strange, havenât expected it from the opposite. âIt sure just an offer if you would ever prefer some lessons in reading.âÂ
He nods by the question, smiling even by how surprised the other was about his offer of assisting by the hunt. âIt would be my pleasure to help.â Ignis doesnât think the other couldnât take care of his own self out there. Nevertheless, he would feel better to know the stranger wouldnât alone against the creature. âYou wish to go on the hunt now?â Maybe asking his friends would be another good idea too.
His thoughts, jumbled and uncoordinated, were babbling away from his usual monstrous thoughts and more toward those of a humane nature - or in the least attempting to. Over and over did those thoughts churn, his eyes glazing for but a moment as he contemplated the otherâs words; âThank you-â That was what people said, was it not? When someone offered help? He thought so and thus he stuck with it. âI would like to go now-â And he sealed his utterance with a nod, albeit somewhat awkward; he believed himself doing rather well since it was his first proper conversation without aid or prompt. âMy name is Chaos-â An introduction - yes, human beings did that too, didnât they?Â
Hunger pains were horrendously uncomfortable.
OOC: I think I might have to put Chaos onto Hiatus for a little while: I just canât seem to write him and with everything going on IRL; I donât want to being to resent his blog. I will be mostly active on my Dragon Age OC, and Vincent; so Iâm still around.
battlexfodder:
Chaos cried out as Luche moved him and though it wrenched his heart, it was necessary. Carefully, he carried the harbinger into the living room, to the nest of blankets and pillows in the corner. âItâll be alright. Just relax for me.â
Leaving Chaos there, he moved quickly to the bathroom where he had stashed a few potions. He returned to his harbinger with them in hand and carefully broke one over his body, then a second, mind working the whole time, even as he watched carefully to see how the other manâs body reacted to the magic.Â
Chaos had said that robots shot him. That could lead Luche to only one conclusion.
Magitek.
Chaos detested being moved if only for the discomfort and pain caused; and the sheer smell of the potions of which were used to aid his healing were atrocious - if only to his nose. He hated it; how it felt against his skin, the smell, the feeling of it burning inside every single cell of his body; but it did stop the bleeding after a few moments and the harbinger paused in his writhing. Finally could his body compensate for the pain; finally did it begin itâs swift procedures in order to heal; how close it had been, however, to him returning to the planet itself and having to explain just how he had died; or at least, killed off his humane version. Quietly did he begin to settle; the odd whimper sounding from his person.  Â
OOC: I am still around! Iâm just a little... behind on everything right about now; Iâve needed a few days to reset; Iâll be online properly tomorrow to get to things.Â
