I really glad to read this because these reporters continually calling him Daddy to his face is getting weird.

I get it, he keeps playing DILFs but there is a way to talk to him that is respectful. Ask him what draws him to that type role. Don’t just reduce his work to “Hot Dad” when we know how much he puts into every role.

I've been thinking about this a lot since the most recent soundbite from ET. I remind myself that he is an adult. He is a playful guy who is comfortable about sex and joking around about sex etc but all the points brought up in the linked article, coupled with reading the article where not only does he say he is a "people pleaser" but the interviewer shares how this is observable in the interview... ugh.

And Nicole, I completely agree that he is so talented and doing such amazing work, I hate for it to be minimized!

What is said here is supposed to remain here, not to him on the red carpet!

It feels almost like reading out RPF starring him to his face, and that one ET reporter keeps doing it. And because he’s a good sport and plays along, everyone else thinks it’s ok to talk to him like that.

I think it also bothers me because TLOU is the biggest project of his career and we all know how long and how hard he worked to get here. And to just reduce it to Daddy and have him call himself a slut at the premiere feels disrespectful and dehumanizing.

I can’t imagine doing that interview, see him be visibly uncomfortable and then releasing it anyway.
