penelope found herself sitting on the bleachers by the pool that spring afternoon. the young hades still didnât know how james had convinced her to go to the swim teamâs practice. she wasnât on the team and probably would never be (due to her pure laziness). yet, the girl had enough energy to drag herself to the pool area and silently cheer for her best friend as he swam what seemed to be endless laps across the pool. james had grown a lot since childhood and penelope almost felt like a proud mother. it felt like it was only yesterday when they met as kids in the park with their big smiles and loud laughter. a familiar voice drew penelope from her day dream and back into reality. she blinked as the male asked for his towel with his usual blank expression. penelope couldn't help but roll her eyes at him while she threw the grey towel at the other, not bothering to toss it to him properly or hide the smile on her face. "you should say please next time or else you won't receive anything from me."Â
isaacparker:
he takes the phone and stares at the cover art, tries to decode what songs it contains but itâs useless; heâs left wondering whoâs playing the music that pours into his ears, that leaves him somewhat calm, somewhat exciting. itâs a paradox he canât unravel, one he accepts with a nod, two, three, until it becomes a slow pattern. then his attention shifts back to her and he, too, smiles, though his is lazy, distracted, the tilt of it crooked to the right. it isnât often that he enjoys new music, always meticulous even in that, but isaac realizes that this is good: the song, penelope, the moment, as though everything fits well without clutter.
she muffles the sound of her chuckles against her hand when her peripheral vision catches him trying to figure out who is singing at the moment. he was always the one to always think about a solution for every problem he faced. penelope wonders if he is able to free from that type of mindset, but she doesnât think about it for long. itâs none of her business what the younger boy does most of the time anyways. her body is relaxed as she watches the students down below from the library window, scrambling to get to their classes or chattering with their friends. the goddess can feel his smile on her back as the song continues to play. she knows in that moment, he let go and the silence between them causes her smile to return once more.
[ text : miss mismatched ]: thatâll only happen if you find me
[ text : miss mismatched ]: which you wont cause youre missing out
[ text : annoyance ] Â please. youâll probably sit across from me again during lunch. - v - . .Â

âOh, now that hurts me deep,â he told her, taking his hand away and tearing the staple out of his hand with his teeth, spitting the piece of metal away and allowing his flesh to heal. âIâm not that forgettable, am I, Pennywise?â He grinned again, and leaned against the surface beside him. It was still very nice to see her, despite the fact that she reminded him of a muddled past. âWhat letter is this? A letter to your future self to never forget the best kisser youâve come across?â
âiâm telling you the truth right now.â she says with an irritated huff. penelope wasnât going to try to convince him any longer only because she knew it would be in vain. despite the shiver running down her spine once she saw him rip the staple out of hand, the goddess held her ground and stared at the male with narrowed eyes. he was slightly annoying already and she didnât even know him that well! âonce again, youâre wrong. i received a letter before my return to elias. itâs from an girl named elena. sadly, i don't know who she is, but she asked that i look out for you.â
 plxholloway:
Perriane could barely function as it is, what more could running on three hours of sleep do to her? Well, contrary to whatâs expected, sheâs actually livelier, which explains her unusual enthusiasm towards the idea of working on an assignment in pairs first thing in the morning. Great, she thought, lacking the usual sarcasm. She got up immediately after the instruction was given, pulling a chair from under the desk and turning it so she could be seated face to face with Penelope, the chosen victim to her abnormally high-spirited self. âHiya.â She waved despite being in her presence for a good minute already. âPenelope. Sitting with me. Working with thee. Makes me really hap_py. Now letâs see. What we could beââ She broke out into a rap that sounded more like a nursery rhyme because of her soft voice. âI ran out of rhymes. I know, itâs disappointing. But you know what wouldnât be disappointing? Our assignment.â Quality! That couldâve been the last rhyme. Damnit.âÂ
penelope stared at the other female with a raised eyebrow as she began to rhyme fluidly. what the hell was going on with the holloway today? is this a joke or did she take some marijuana? the goddess pondered while continuing to stare with slight amusement in her eyes. perhaps it was just the blood of the holloways that made them slightly more loony than normal. penelope could only chuckle at the thought before she cleared her throat to capture the femaleâs attention. âperry, are you okay? youâre a bit more bouncier than usual.â her cheek rested against the palm of her hand as a lock of hair twirled between her fingers. âyour rapping isn't that bad by the way. anywho, letâs focus on the assignment.âÂ
"Is there anything I can do to change your mind?"
âsorry, bree. thereâs nothing you can do to change my mind now.â a smile spreads across her lips as she holds the plate of dessert close to her. only a fool would trade their dessert for a piece of homework, not like penelope didn't mind. the cafeteriaâs specialty dessert of the day was strawberry cheesecake, which was one of her favorites, and penelope couldn't help but consume the treat in large quantities whenever it appeared. the goddess didn't know where the calories went when they didn't show on her weight surprisingly. but just like most things in her life, penelope didn't care. glancing up at the pouting bete, the goddess could only stick her tongue in a playful manner before taking a bite of the confection. âyum.â

Paprika was in her own little world again, content with yet another recipe she had perfected for her lunch as she ate outside like she normally did. So of course she didnât notice the other girl as she gulped down her food, making the embarrassing noises when she ate delicious food. It wasnât until the small laughter entered her ears that she snapped out of her trance that she finally saw the girl next to her.
âOh my gosh- Iâm sorry, I didnât uh- see you there,â She stuttered, almost dropping her food in shock. âWas I- making noises again?
it was nice to see someone lost in their own world for once instead of facing the anxiety that reality had given her. penelope envied the girl for that exact reason. taking a glance at the lunchbox on the petite girlâs lap, penelope remembered that her lunch was probably gone by now from hungry teenagers. just as she began to open her mouth to reply to the female, her stomach began to rumble loudly for a few moments. immediately, her arms wrapped around her lower abdomen as an attempt to muffle or stop the sound while her face turns red in embarrassment. âi think weâre about even right now.â this was truly embarrassing.
"Come cuddle and watch old sitcoms with me!"
âyou know i would, but i have homework to do!â the younger gave the other female a small purse of her lips as she tried to back out of the room. penelope knew that fae was persistent when she wanted something and sadly, the poor girl would give in within moments if she didnât escape at that exact moment. quickly, the goddess rushes over to the door, only to feel a devilish grin and a hand on her shoulder. âgod damn it.â penelope mumbles under her breath as sheâs dragged across the room and onto the bed.Â
Send me one of the following for a journal entry from my muse.
â - An entry about a day my muse felt particularly good on, perhaps because they won something, learned something, met someone special, etc.
⢠- A day my muse felt incredibly bad on, because they let themself down in some respect (e.g. they failed at something they tried very hard for).
⤠- An entry my muse wrote on struggling with a physical or mental illness.
â - Mourning the loss of someone dear to them (either to death or other causes).
â - My muse has just moved houses, jobs, schools or is staying somewhere new for a while and describes how this makes them feel.
â - An angry message my muse wrote down after a heated argument with your muse. (Either directed at your muse or not.)
â - A conflict my muse had while dealing with their family, either resolved (and written in retrospect) or unresolved (and written in frustration of the event).
â - A message my muse wrote after not having written for a while, possibly because they lost the journal or because they have been busy with other things. (Feel free to include part of the previous entry for perspective.)
â - My muse writes about yours. Perhaps the first time they met, or an event that was particularly important to our musesâ relationship.
â - Someone read my museâs journal and my muse rants about how that made them feel and whether they knew who it was and have confronted them etc.
With her wand missing, Fairy God Mother is unable to maintain the magic that keeps Elias Academy safe. Thereâs a glitch in the system and soon enough a loophole builds within the isle until, eventually, the entire thing goes up in smoke.
Children of animals revert back to their original forms, mutant powers are no longer kept secret and dark magic knows no barriers.
Double, double, toil and trouble⌠The magic is gone.
