Yin is a anomaly "born" in a glitched UnderFell timeline. She is the result of a reset that happened just as Fell!Gaster attempted to escape the void. This somehow cause the two skelebros souls and one of Fell!Gasters many hands to glitch in a way that a babybones was created.
She has a mixture magic signal similar to that of the Wingding family; Papyrus, Sans, and Wingding Gaster. The red hand that had assisted in created this lil mistake had faded to a pinkish hue, creating a monster with a soul of fear. Something that is seen as impossible for monsters, especially with too much fear being toxic to monsters, along with Hate and Determination. Her life itself is like a ticking time bomb, as her soul slowly kills itself as time goes by. This is, however, slowed down by eating monster made food because of its healing qualities. If Gaster, however, was able to come in contact with Yin, the soul she had obtained from Gasters hand, will trigger back to Determination and cause her to take her form known as Yang.
Yang is triggered by her soul being exposed to Determination. This causes her to Psychotically switch from Shy, insecure, and an over all scaredy cat into a literal nightmare.
Instead of Being self induced with fear, she uses her fear magic in this form to induce others in fear. Covering a foes soul in her pink magic, she can use allusion attacks to “hurt” her opponent and make them see and live/relive their worse fears. (Note: the attacks do not do actual damage to her enemy, but do feel real and look real to the opponent.)
The only way she is to inflict actual damage is to not cover the opponents soul in her fear magic. But that makes it much more difficult since she has a harder time keeping track of her target with one eye, since the other is blind during this form, only leaking pink ooz along with her mouth and head wound/crack.

Being born as a “glitch” is not easy, Yin would know. Well, not as much of glitch as she is an anomaly. The skelebros found her on the floor in front of couch crying, without a clue of where she came from. Papyrus asked everywhere if anyone were missing a child, but everyone denied that they are missing a skeleton child. Sans, though, knew something was off and could sense the magic from Yin being familiar. He convinced Papyrus that Yin was most likely a relative. But it strikes up the question of where she came from. Regardless, after much debate, they decided to keep her there. What was more interesting to Sans was her Soul. Pink in color and faintly glowing.
Yins room was small with a single bed and a barred window. She grew up mostly in that room, as Papyrus didn’t want her going out and possibly getting into trouble. Not to mention Yin started to call Papyrus father and Sans dad. He couldn’t stand the embarrassment and shattered pride that Yin could cause by saying that around others. But as Yin grew a bit older, Papyrus would take her to Undyne for training, that caused her to get the cracks in her skull. He would also force her to kill “weak” monster to make her “stronger”.
One day though, when Frisk made it to snowdin, Yin saw her through the window and pulled the weak bars off, climbing through in curiosity. She had never seen a human before, but Sans had explained them to her. Once she had met Frisk, she decided to help and journey with them. But once their journey was coming to an end, Yin was forced to find a way to leave UnderFell before a reset, for this would cause her to be erased from existence since she wasn’t meant to exist in the first place.
Now she roams the multiverse through and portals she can find, all the while avoiding Gaster, Error, Fresh, and some others on the way.
She’s extremely timid. Even the slightest sudden movement could startle her. She is not very talkative and she’s away from others who try to strike up a conversation. She prefers to be alone, yet she’s also scared to be alone, and misses Frisk. Pretty much, due to her unusual monster soul trait, she’s scared of just about anything. But even so, she’s also kind and caring to those she gets to know and trust.
She’s a somewhat taller skeleton than Sans, reaching half the height of Papyrus so far. The sports a grey long sleeved shirt and black and silver leggings. Her shoes are grey and blue and she wears orange and blue sleevies to match her disguise eye, which she keeps the same colors to mask the natural pink glowing color. She also wears a red bandana to hide her deformed “mouth”, that is composed of melted looking sharp edges around her actual teeth.
•She doesn’t have many special powers, beside being able to teleport and pick up small objects or creatures with her magic, she is unable to teleport herself or other monsters, let alone create portals herself.
•Her attacks aren’t that fantastic either, being limited to only bone attacks and occasionally a melting blaster, but this only causes her soul to crack more from the magic usage to her weak soul.
•Her Yang form, though, is a different story. But this as well is dangerous to her soul, as it is a MASIVE usage of magic.
