My thoughts? I think Monaca's trauma is a bit misunderstood. When it comes to kids like her, I can't help but feel a little sympathy. Even though her actions are terrible, I just can't ignore how emotionally neglected and abused she was by her mom, dad, and half-brother. A 12-year-old child (or whatever her age was in the game) never knew what a healthy family felt like. She acts happy, childish, and overly excited on the outside, but on the inside, she’s just dead, lonely, and empty. It's sad. That’s exactly why she idolized Junko Enoshima,,,,Junko was the only one who made her feel welcome and loved.
