So beautiful! Its a strange thing to see the blur associated with moving objects in photography to sit over statues and figures made of stone.

Bob Dylan. Sketches 1989 - 1992.
Coming across these was a bit of a surprise, I could have never guessed that Bob Dylan didn't limit his artistic contribution to music. These drawings are from the publication "The Drawn Blank Series" and comprise of scenes and moments Dylan came across on the road. These drawings are incredibly expressive, matching the artist's musical style and character.
Michael Vaughan. Yes- No- Maybe?
Lorenzo Quinn. Although known as a sculptor, Quinn started out as a painter in 1982, quickly switching to three-dimensional structures when he felt his old work was missing some extra element. His sculptures are incredibly emotive, focusing on people and everyday life. Most of the time it is accompanied by poetry or extracts from literature, flowing as one piece to convey the artist's intent.
Keith Proctor, exhibiting artist at the Westover Gallery.
Joan Mitchell (1924-1992)
This inspires me to start painting again.

lovely style and depiction of shadow. something about this makes me think of a dark fairy tale, especially with the ravens flying out of the branches.

for people like me - never seem to find enough storage space in a house...
something about this image - I love the contrast between the advertised and the real. even the smoky effect of the perfume advert compliments the cigarette smoke in a sharp, slap-in-the-face way. a lovely depiction of two great stereotypes embedded with urban life.
