"The Golden Gate is an electric camper car measuring 96"x54"x64". Made with fiberglass, epoxy resin, plywood, glass, bike parts and electric motor. The vehicle can drive 10 miles on a charge and goes up to 20 mph. The interior has a kitchen with sink, stove, cooler, storage cubbies, toilet, a bed and storage below the bed. We need to talk about Tumbleweed Tiny Houses. I remember a few years ago, my boyfriend had been talking about an artist he’d heard about who built his own super-small home as an ode to minimal living in a revolutionarily modest way: a home of only 89 square feet.

Years later, the guy has made a business of these homes. And, unsurprisingly, since the guy was an artist: the homes are beautiful, inside and out. Not a single one exceeds 900 sq. feet, with every option added (most of them are a fraction of that), and they come in a variety of styles.
