kinda sad that shes not a g3 Abbey, since a Skullector using South Asian influences would EAT, but how can I complain about these results
obviously I voted Dark makeup and claws, and hair back with crown

isn’t it funny how people say ‘grilled cheese’ instead of ‘grilled cheese sandwich’? you could be talking about an actual piece of grilled che

why do men have this eternal fear of being used for money they don’t have lol
maybe im just a hater and i never really engage with true crime content outside of the few times i was forced to in high school but whenever people are like "yeah its just fascinating.... to hear how killers think.... its so interesting to know their thought processes..." and well. 99% of the time its "they realized they had the chance to hurt somebody and took it" and they werent some misunderstood genius it was 1. police incompetence & people not caring about the victims and 2. most serial killers are white guys. and white guys can get away with a hell of a lot
omg it’s dr. roberta bobby, author of one of my favorite tweets ever written
Omg she wrote one of my favorites also
The new Odyssey adaptation has inevitably gotten people talking about a Muppet version of it, and they’re frequently suggesting Kermit as Odysseus, Miss Piggy as Penelope.
I’m sorry but that’s thinking way too small, hear me out:
We need to have Miss Piggy as Odysseus, and Kermit as Penelope.
Think about it… who’s the more fickle, prideful, warlike one in that relationship? Who is absolutely ready to go ham, at a moment’s notice?
It ain’t Kermit
Miss Piggy tied to the mast while Statler and Waldorf heckle her from the sea
need some female director to lock in and make a movie where a grotesquely ugly and disgusting and monstrous woman slasher killer butchers handsome men in humiliating and sexualized ways. and it CAN'T be because they are rapists or abusers or otherwise misogynistic okay, she has to do it because she's a fucked up pervert
out of all the bs criticism of Monster High G3, we're missing the real issue with this gen
that the dolls don't come with little diaries where they tell you about their day anymore
hmmm sure is funny how the straight asian coded guy in monster high doesn't deserve redemption but the little woobie white gay vampire does
More people should like Gil. I'm serious.
Maybe not as a person, but at the very least, as a character. Or even just APPRECIATE him. Because his story is insanely important, even to this day.
I know at first glance, when most people look at Gil, all they can see is an idiotic teen boy who lets his family's racism hurt his girlfriend. But it's SO much more than that.
What it really is, is a young boy who is struggling but trying his best to break free of the systematic bigotry forced onto him by his parents.
His character is so relevant because every day, kids around the world are being taught to hate, and since it's by their families, they can't find a way to overcome this hatred. Gil shows kids that there's a way to unlearn this. He shows kids how important it is to question their parents' judgements of others.
His and Lagoona's story shows kids that there are white people who are offput by your culture and the color of your skin, and will do anything to try and convince you to become "clean." But they also teach kids that your culture isn't something to hide. That you don't need to hide your religious practices or straighten your hair or be ashamed of your accent or lighten your skin or ANYTHING. AND it teaches white kids to accept and appreciate those very differences in others. Not to mention the promotion it does for interracial relationships, which unfortunately, is still debated even in 2026.
You can hate Gil, but remember, he represents very real teenagers in the REAL world who are working to get better and learn how to love again.
People can change. And we need to promote this change. Your past doesn't define you.
