eteratekoha:
“I do what I need to to get the job done.” Etera answered. Etera had been part of many, many wars, but he hadn’t come out into the forest to hunt down the fleeing as sport. “A spell…” Etera frowned slightly, wondering why he would have been brought him if not for a greater purpose. “No.” Etera answered, passing him an incredulous look for Percy’s words before stalking towards him, “I’ll get you to somewhere safe.” He answered instead, with little room for argument it seemed as he started through the trees.
He respected Etera’s motivations even if he wouldn’t agree with where it brought him. Percy didn’t know why the spell had been done or by who, but he had a few ideas. Even though Etera had said no, the way he moved towards him was clearly with purpose. “And where might that be?” he asked, moving to fall into step beside the demon. Percival had already scoped out the area, and it wasn’t in the best of shapes. Once it was safe enough, he would do his best to get away but he wasn’t going to leave others behind to get to safety himself.
