Not enough people care about physically disabled people's bodily autonomy. And by not enough people, I mean most able-bodied people. Attempts to "help" wheelchair users and touching their chairs without consent is assault, forcing physically disabled people into doing things they don't want to do, like labor, like basic activities which can easily be accommodated is ableism, building an inaccessible system, an inaccessible society says to physically disabled people: "I don't want you to exist."

The intersection between misogyny and ableism is really enough to make me go insane. For reference, this woman broke her leg in a way which required a metal cage around it in order to heal properly and couldn't shave the part of her leg in a cage for risk of infection. She just happened to have a lot of leg hair in this area. And instead of this video focussing on her leg being broken and subsequent life difficulties adjusting to living with her leg in a cage, it focused on her leg hair.
