Potatoes, beans and pumpkin are growing well in the hill beds.
Larvae of the rhinoceros beetle feed on wood and other plant fibers, which mainly consist of cellulose (and hemicellulose). This material is known by almost all species are difficult to digest. So they love decomposed, soft wood duff and move in the hill flower beds.
