Sometimes I see Matt Groening's characters and designs and I just think. Yeah actually these designs are really fucking funny.

Look at him. Look at his stupidly long lip. He looks like a Duck of some sort. And his hair, what the hell is that even. Shoots up like a glob of toothpaste. His eyes are GOOGLY. pupils slightly off centre and vacant. His little :T . He's coloured like a delightful cheese pizza (orange hair like cheese red jacket like tomato sauce). And he's a delivery boy. Used to deliver pizza in particular. He's a pizza. A whole ass pizza. Why is his tiny ear on his neck. Ridiculous design feature. And his head just blends Into his neck as if it's one singular thing. This shape is barley even human yet he somehow is. It's so utterly stupid and out there but still just Some Guy.

And then the Simpsons. Bright Yellow family. Marge has hair two stories high and it's a beautiful blue. Their children's hair is just part of their heads. The dog looks so pathetic. Santa's little helper is the perfect greyhound design

He's just. A noodle of sorts. He's so simple but his googly eyes and stupid snoot are so perfect. I love this animal so much. Fundamentally unserious creature.

Matt Groening's artsyle is so stupid I hope I can harness this energy in my artstyle.
