The cast of BotB season four has touched down in a new state: Ohio! That's right—they're infiltrated G's backyard (and maybe someone else's?) Unfortunately, the rockstar isn't happy about this development considering the people who have decided to show their faces here. Meanwhile certain rumors are tainting the BOTB brand while the home lives of the ROs are starting to creep up on them. Will there even be a tour? Who knows?

As usual, MC remains in the center of it all. Their plans for their future comes into question when they're forced with new faces and possibilities. That is…if they even have a career by the end of this. For some MCs they should probably keep in mind to think with their head and not their…you know!

I'm calling it an alpha demo because, and not to get all sad and lame, after the death of my family member I did not feel like adding more to my plate (aka beta testers). Writing took up much of my time already and it just hasn't been the right time to include other people into the process. Of course, that must change, and I will be getting beta testers soon now that the alpha is out. As always, the chapters are subject to change and improve as time goes on.

So with that said if there are errors im all ears! I will try to be as timely as possible.

NOTE: if you're band tier sub from late march to april expired, please send me a message so I can send you my email and send the demo. This interactive fiction is intended for a mature audience (18+)

You play the heir to a criminal empire, struggling to climb the brutal hierarchy of the mafia food chain. Blessed with superhuman regeneration, you suffer from the split: the necessity to share your body with Paul/Paula, a fully independent personality masquerading as your twin.

Each of you is triggered by one of your parents, just the glimpse of them or the mere sound of their voice. And while you’re stuck being bound to the cold and manipulative crime lord, Paul/a enjoys the warmth of a mother you’ve never actually met.

To ensure your mutual existence, your father has imposed a rigid system based on alternating weeks of total control over the body, no interference and no exceptions.

As children, you and Paul/a accepted this burden without question. But after years of struggle and with the split malfunctioning, neither of you is willing to follow the rules anymore.

Ernest Age: 55 Your boss, first and foremost, but also your father, the person you’re inseparably tied to. He’s sharp and uncompromising, running his mafia operation under the guise of legitimate business; hotels and night clubs. He’s the main force behind the split.

Barbara Age: 53 Your mother, but you’ve never seen her. She’s the parent bounded to Paul/Paula. Delicate, beautiful and disturbingly unageing. If there’re any answers about your super regeneration, there’re to be found in her DNA.

Thomas Age: 56 Barbara’s brother, your uncle; Doctor of Medicine (MD) and researcher. Involved in establishing the split.  

Peter/Petra Age: 28 Paul/Paula best friend; a restaurant owner. They know about the split and are extremely loyal to other personality sharing your body.

I think it's really interesting how, if you select the option not to sacrifice the daughters, the narration will tell you they died in the crossfire of whatever event they were sacrificed for.

Sybil sacrificed all of her daughters, the alternative outcomes are just speculation on her part. There's no way of knowing whether they would have died of plague or during war and it's incredibly manipulative that she acts like their deaths were guaranteed. It's essentially Sybil turning to the player and guilting you into thinking that there was no better option despite the fact that she can't possibly know for sure.
