"Yeah. He’s Voltaire." The dog snorted in agreement. "He has no idea how to bark, so he just snorts," she laughed, "I think he’s part pig, to be honest." She shifted her gaze from the black dog to Peter with a smile and found herself getting lost in his deep brown eyes. A loud sneeze from the creature snapped her out of her reverie, hopefully before it became noticeable. "He’s also kind of a mess."
Peter laughed at the dog, leaning down to pet him before straightening out quickly. "He's a cutie." He said, as the dog sneezed. "Certianly..." He said laughing. He reached and rubbed the back of his neck, staring awkwardly around the room. "S-so...shall we be off then?" He said, stepping a bit out and offering for her to go first.
