Inspired by Australia’s Metro Train’s popular train safety ‘Dumb Ways To Die’ video, Young & Rubicam Brazil came up with a parody ad that humorously shows the various ways creative ideas die. Created for Miami Ad School/ESPM in São Paulo, the adorably morbid ad features creative ideas dying horrific and funny deaths, like a script being set on fire to a presentation being used as fishing bait. Creatives, can you relate to any of these deaths?

ALCHEMY is interested in exhibits that encourage visitors’ artistic expression and then invite visitors to share and document these expressions or creations in a meaningful way. A very interesting example of this is the piece “Your Line or Mine", created by the firm Moniker for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The results are hypnotic and the variety of ways that people "connect the dots" illustrates—quite literally—that there are infinite paths towards achieving any goal.
What's tasty, abundant and high in protein? Bugs! Although less common outside the tropics, entomophagy, the practice of eating bugs, was once extremely widespread throughout cultures. You may feel icky about munching on insects, but they feed about 2 billion people each day (Mmm, fried tarantulas). They also hold promise for food security and the environment. Emma Bryce makes a compelling case for dining on bugs.
