Goodness, I love your writing! It makes me get butterflies, I wish I would give that affect to other people. Advice?

Sometimes it annoys everyone around you but USE GOOD GRAMMAR OMFG. Spelling especially. PAY ATTENTION DURING ENGLISH CLASS IT IS IMPORTANT OKAY SCHOOL IS IMPORTANT. The more you get used to correcting yourself and using proper English and capital letters and spelling it will just rub off whenever you write.
READ. Read everything, fanfiction, books, whatever. I recommend fanfiction (heh). Try for the longer ones with chapters that are highly rated and such, usually on LiveJournal or other writing platforms. Read other people’s writing and look at the pros and cons of it. If you wrote the story, what would you change? Use their works to influence your own. BOOKS, TOO. Books are so great and magical and wonderful and special, okay? So, long story short, I didn’t really like reading all too much. Only, like, the BEST books. But, I read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green a year ago and now I’m obsessed.
You can write whatever you want whenever you want to. This means, whenever you have a good idea, WRITE THAT DOWN. Or think about it a lot, and how you would like it to end, certain lines in it, etc. You have no idea how many ideas I have jotted down on the corners of copybook sheets or in random notebook tabs on my iPod. (I also have three folders filled of hand-written fanfiction I wrote for my friends during class last year)
WRITE WHENEVER THE HELL YOU WANT. I’ve always tried the whole “one hour of this, one episode of this, then writing”. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t function like that. When you feel like writing- WRITE. Whether it’s 4am and you’re listening to a sexy song and decide to write until 7am (not that that’s ever happened to me cOUGH LYINGISTHEMOSTFUNAGIRLCANHAVE). There’s this weird, unexplainable feeling that happens when an idea to write comes into your head, you know?
Try to follow and not follow the whole “Don’t care about what people think of your writing” saying. You should definitely care about how your audience feels about it (you are writing for them), but don’t change the entire plot to fit one person’s preference. After a while you’ll learn what you like and slip it into whatever you’re writing.
NARRATE EVERYTHING. In public, walking to school, whenever, think about how your life would be written if someone was thinking about you. Pay attention to little details in life, find words that exactly describe what’s going on and use them (maybe this comes with photography but hey). Little things.
