           A look at Hex Maniacs!

A Hex Maniac is, more or less, a ghost whisperer. They are able to not only see the spirits of the deceased, but they are able to communicate with them as well, and the swirls in their eyes are a symbol of this rare gift. From an early age a Hex Maniac is brought on to help with ghosts by those with experience, for the symbol (that gift of theirs) attracts spirits of all kinds to them almost wherever they go, because the very air surrounding a Hex Maniac shimmers with their eerie connection to the other world. 

It is, without a doubt, their duty to help and guide those spirits so that they may pass on to the other world, so that they may finally be at peace and end all ties they have to the world of the living. Ghost-types help aid this oftentimes difficult process (for like their typing suggests they too, are ghosts) and this is the major reason as to why Hex Maniacs specialize in them. 

As stated before the gift of communicating and seeing the dead is rare. Very few people have it, and it’s why Hex Maniacs are such a rare and unique class. There are very few in existence that can rightfully call themselves a Hex Maniac, because it is a title that has been passed down from generation to generation throughout the years. Since there are so few of them they settle wherever they are needed most, and Hoenn and Kalos (regions that have been shown to have a strong connection with death) are where they are called to.
