Wooden sword… Ugh, disappointing. But whatever! He can use this knowledge so he can best Lucina the next time they happen to get into a sword fight. Whenever that may be. With the state of the mansion, though, that could be at any second.
“Alright, I’ll take up y’ offer! I’ll do it!” And also he just can’t help but think swords are super cool. Being able to use one properly instead of swinging it mindlessly would be even better. “…Uh, how’d ya want me t’ pay y’ back?” This wouldn’t be without a price, surely.
『♜』–– Paying him back... that was a question Roy wasn’t expecting to be asked. Not that he minds, he doesn’t really need to be paid for sword fighting lessons... And he’s not really a teacher either.
❝ W-well... I was not intending to be paid for the lessons, actually. In the contrary, you are the one who needs a reward... not me? I mean, aren’t you the one requesting a sword? A real one? Right... So if you are successful to my lessons, you’ll be able to drop that wooden sword and get a nice, sharp and good quality blade. How motivating is that for you? ❞

Her words started out excitable but softened by the very end . No matter how modest he was , she knew that he deserved the praise . Grinning widely , she listened as he attempted to downplay his accomplishments like usual . Everyone else held him much higher than he ever held himself . Letting most of what he said fall to the wayside , she placed a firm hand on his shoulder .
“ I forget how easily flustered you get . But you have to admit , compliments feel nice . Besides , I give you just as much criticism as I do praise . ”

Moomoo was so amazed at what he just heard about Roy. Such heroic things coming from his master and all the respect people have for him... it is definitely deserved.
❝ I wish I was able to do all these things, but I’m a small owdinawy Shy Guy... nothing vewy impwessive. ❞
『♜』–– Despite the fluster, he was well aware that all the things he accomplished for Elibe... was truly heroic. Everyone was counting on him... So young and yet, so brave, having to deal with the pressure of his position in the army, and making the right decisions for victory. It’s was an extremely hard situation.
❝ Ending the war against Bern wasn’t my only goal... I wanted everyone to live in peace and make our world a happy place to live in. I also had to fight my depression, but thanks to the army’s support, I could do anything that I would never think was possible... I do deserve your praise... but without you and the others, I would not be the hero I am today... You guys, also deserve to be praised. ❞

... This is something I was very indecisive about and kept editing it (Fiora > Unknown > Fiora > Unknown ... idk anymore ) ...
And I have decided... Roy’s mother is ... Fiora. I used to like Eli x Lyn a lot too when I was younger and looked for FE7 stuff (I did not play the game back then yet... just heard about the characters) but now that I finished it and know about the characters, I really like this pair more. :’)

——🔥 When that small whisper left his lips , the mage gasped and narrowed her eyes at him . Naturally , he was always good at turning the tables on someone , especially her . Sometimes , it almost felt like he was waiting for her to walk into it . Luckily , she always knew how to strike back . Her hand rested on her hip as she leaned forward .
“ Pretty cowardly words from someone known as one of Elibe’s great heroes . ”
A genuine laugh escaped her as she straightened back up . Hearing that endearing way he spoke , the natural flow of their conversations , Lilina wouldn’t trade this for the world . Now that there were three of them , she’d likely get to hear more about the strange ‘ Smash ’ world Roy had visited . With a sincere and warm smile , her eyes shifted toward Moomoo once more .
“ Don’t worry . Roy and I are a team so I’d rather he remain safe . I’d be dreadfully bored without him . ”
『 ’.’ 』–– ❝ Wheoh? Master Woy is a gweat hewo in his home countwy? Whoaaa ~ ! That’s why he’s so cool and stwong! ❞ Moomoo couldn’t help but praise Roy at any occasion. And the latter doesn’t really brag about him being a hero at all. His legendary pessimism still remains...
『♜』–– ❝ Gnnh... !! Cut that out... I am no hero... I just did what I was assigned to! Help the people of Elibe and stop the war between humans and dragons... uh... ❞

——🔥 “ I’ve been well . Things are so different here ; it’s a bit overwhelming . I’m glad you’re here . ”
She took a moment to study the adorable little masked creature accompanying Roy this time around . It warmed her heart to see that her childhood friend was just as good at making friends as ever . that was something Lilina had always admired about him .
“ How very cute ! It’s a pleasure , Moomoo . ”
After a good moment of fawning over his new companion , her beaming had turned into a sly little smirk . Even though he had admitted it himself , she’d like to know just what kind of things the Shy Guy was told .
“ We have quite a long history , Roy . I can’t help but wonder what sort of things you’ve told Moomoo about me . All good things , I hope . ”
She snickered ; it felt wonderful to be able to joke around with her friend again .
『♜』–– ❝ Hahaha! Seriously, are you doubting me, Lili? Of course I said good things about you! That would be cheeky if I said otherwise... unless I’m teasing of course. I actually value my life, you know? ❞ Roy joked, referring to Lilina’s talent with magic. He turned at Moomoo, jokingly whispering, but loud enough for her to hear.
❝ Or else, she would burn me alive with her spells... hm! ❞
『 ’.’ 』–– ❝ Wheoooh... ❞ Moomoo wasn’t really sure about the whole thing, but knowing she could burn his master alive if he said bad things about her kinda made him feel frightened.

——🔥 Lilina was absolutely giddy . She hadn’t gotten to spend time with Roy since she’d arrived here . Even a little fragment of the same old , same old was definitely overdue .
“ Oh , Roy ! It’s so good to see you again ! I— ”
She’d meant to over-excitedly throw her arms around Roy despite knowing it would make him uncomfortable , like she always did on the rare occasions she got emotional . Something stopped her in her tracks , however and caused her to curiously glance upward .
“ Uh , what is that on your head ? ”
『♜』–– ❝ Hey, Lilina! It’s a pleasure to see you indeed! How have you been? ❞ Roy smiled brightly at his best friend.
As she was about to throw her arms around him, he kinda stepped back. But, she stopped before doing any move on him and stared at what was on his head. Did Moomoo save him from being super embarrassed?
❝ Oh, that? Mh... hahaha! This is my friend, Moomoo. He’s a Shy Guy. Say hello to Lilina. She’s the good friend I kept telling you about at the Smash manor. ❞
