hi im so sorry if this ask isn’t quite what you want (feel free to message me directly if you’d prefer to answer there) but would it be possible for you to explain how an (your) rp account works? i read through some of your posts and honestly it seems like fun and i’d love to rp with you if you’d be down but i don’t really know anything about how tumblr rp works or how rp accounts work.

Of course!! I’ll post publicly since I think others can benefit from an answer to a question like this.
As you know I am an Apollo roleplay blog, what I’ve done was combined Apollo from Record of Ragnarok (aka Shuumatsu No Valkyrie) with Apollo from Epic the Musical because I wanted an excuse to roleplay with epic blogs. (Though honestly it’s more of SnV!Apollo just taking Epic!Apollo’s place) Though now that I’ve read more of the Percy Jackson series I can now roleplay that more confidently…
Basically the whole gist of a roleplay account is to put yourself out there. You can make posts that people can reply to, or interact with other accounts you find. In truth other’s run their accounts differently, but what I do is I make posts interacting with others and accept asks.
To roleplay you can find open roleplays and accounts, check the tags and make sure it’s open (since most will put if their roleplays or starters are open) and reply! You gotta put yourself out there to start getting interactions which is how I met and roleplayed with as many people as I did.
Once you get traction people will also start sending asks, either questions or roleplay starters and from there you can roleplay as well.
However if the roleplay is a closed roleplay, that means that they have their own people that they’re roleplaying with, and that they’d rather stick to those particular people, but they may have other roleplays you can interact with.
And if you’d like to roleplay then feel free to send me an ask! Or hell send one to any of my other blogs! (I have a few blogs (an oc, and some other fandoms.) They’re all open though I need to start being online more again lol) or just reply to one of my posts! I have a few open starters, and you could always search for those on my account’s search.

“For you!”
Apollo raises an eyebrow, reaching a gloved hand out and taking the letter from his son.
“Oh? What’s this you’ve brought me?”
He smiled slightly, raising an amused eyebrow towards his son.
“The last time you brought me mail it was meant to be blackmail.”
He began, a soft chuckle escaping him as he opened the letter.
[he smiles]
“Well I hope it’s better new this time”
[he waits patiently for Apollo to read the letter]
Apollo opens the letter, reading it over. As he does his expression falls, his eyes narrowing. Then eventually the paper erupts into flames, quickly burning in his hold.
“It was nothing important.”
[Hermes looks curious and confused. Then his eyes go wide]
“So not important you had to burn it?”
[He truly just wanted to get some secrets but also he cares for his dad and wants him to be okay.]
His expression darkened as he shot a glare to Hermes.
“Exactly that.”
He spoke, forcing a smile and laughing forcefully.
“Now, why don’t you run along my boy! I’m sure you’re busy.”
He chirped, his voice full of false cheer as he patted his son on the head.
Open starter (i’m really bored.)
[Hermes was speeding around and delivering mail all day. Zeus had so much going out and coming in. Perhaps he is fighting with the gods again, or the mortals. Who knows with him. Hermes is exhausted and would give anything to just nap or even sit for a second. He’s flying over and through some tree’s when his wing gets caught on a branch for second. He pulls it free and bites his lip. The white feathers now had drops of golden blood falling down. Shit! He’s gonna be behind. He ignores it and continues to fly back to zeus. Or he tries, his left wing won’t fly him right anymore. He groans and tries to continue flying but he keeps leaning too left. He continues on but suddenly he shoots down towards the ground. He groans and looks up at the sky.]

From where Apollo was he could see the dust disturbed by the crash-landing. His eyes widened slightly at the sight. Apollo quickly traveling to the site to make sure that nothing had gotten hurt.
When he had arrived, he didn’t spot anything out of the ordinary at first. He however took a closer look, quickly spotting the droplets of gold littering ground. Whatever had fallen was divine in nature.
“Fuck…” He cursed quietly, walking closer. Then he saw it, the wings, then the rest of who had fallen.
“Hermes!” Apollo ran over, taking a close look at the damage.

A sleepy looking person bumps into you, they are wearing a white tunic with gold trim and bracelets. “Oh, sorry. Didn’t mean to bump you. I’m just a bit tired. Not really watching where I’m going.” Aleksander rubs his eyes.

Apollo looks down, a flash of annoyance crossing his features until he takes in the boy’s appearance.
“Be more careful next time.” He reprimanded softly, looking down at the boy. “Though, I am curious. What brings you here?”
