right imma throw out this idea cause it's been stuck in my head.

i saw people talking about how us as y/n are the anomaly/paradox ourselves as we're from a 'different dimension', that dimension being reality, not all the fiction.

sooo i think my grand idea for what the 'ending' will potentially be is that yes, we as the viewer are fucking with the universe because we're not meant to be a character making choices, we're the VIEWER after all. so, what if literally just us having the ability to choose instead of just viewing the stories is what's messing everything up?

to me it seems that Space is where we lose our ability to choose. already, it's becoming apparent that our choices seem to matter less and less, hell, all the 'picture endings' of part one all lead to the towards to the light video regardless of your choices, and there's three endings but a hundred ways of getting to them. we're already being restricted too, like when the two 'options' to jump in or canon ball pop up, only for them to be fake and for us to be pulled back by Mark, plus Space is the first time (i think) we've seen ourselves in third person, flying out into the void. and what's with the Actor cameo? where we're walking around the set? my first question was why does Actor not acknowledge us when we're right there? maybe because he can't see us, because we're behind the 'screen', that would link to why Mark asks during the narrator path, "viewers? what viewers?!". i just think something is trying to push us, as a character with choices, out of the stories because we keep messing it up.

we are technically the only character who doesn't know the script, we don't even know our lines we don't talk once! that's maybe why people keep directing us to where we're meant to be (Ms Whitacre and Wil)

my guess is that the 'ending' that i originally thought would be to do with the ego's story, isn't to do with them at all. i think it's our story that's got to end, i think Space might be Mark's last 'choose your own adventure' first person type project. i think maybe, we will be sent back to our true place, behind the screen, viewing, and that's the only way to stop destroying literally the entire universe.

observations PART 2

sooo the next thing i wanna get out of my brain... the glitches we see throughout Space.

over the course of Space we see these glitches, immediately i thought of Dark. however something i noticed is that they don't look like any glitches we ever seen before, they're less chromatic, they almost look like smudges to me, kinda feels like it's not Dark, but someone else glitching things?

tying this in, after Ms Whitacre has kablooie-d the whole ship, we're sent back to the cryo pod and shit starts glitching about. we then hear a voice say "it's time to wake up captain" which again first thought is Dark, but the only person who's ever said that line in the past, is Actor during the Damien animatic. this is where i get a little lost, is it Dark speaking through Dorene almost mocking Actor's previous words? is it actually Actor speaking through Dorene echoing the past?

my best guess, ties in with the 'Ms Whitacre is the house' theory. if she is a manifestation of the house, then everyone from WKM is trapped inside them still, so are we seeing a battle between Dark and Actor through these glitches and through Dorene? so much of her character matches Dark but then, doesn't, matches Celci, then doesn't, matches Actor, then doesn't. it seems she almost changes who she is quite frequently so maybe, it's the different people taking control of the energy? who knows, all we know for sure is she seems to know everything and apparently she knows us, again the 'you always were so stubborn' line.

now two dumb things that are more like my own story honestly, not even close to provable or true, just fun!

so one thing about the glitches and Space as a whole, we've always believed that these 'stories' were Actor's making, but what if Dark managed to trap Actor for once? and the glitches we see are Actor trying to escape Dark's game? a taste of your own medicine vibe perhaps?

also something along those lines but completely far fetched but kinda fun, is the possibility that y/n is Actor and Dark has trapped him/us in Space to teach him/us a lesson, i mean we are constantly told it's our fault and the blame and responsibility seems to be a running thing with Space. again almost 100% not true but just fun to think about that Dorene could be Dark and the whole "time to wake up" thing is a mockery of Actor's words.

more Ms Whitacre observations! PART 1

sooo i was looking at Dorene and noticed something else that i think could play into two different theories!

in the scene above we get a more close up look at her, and (maybe it's just the lighting but) i'm pretty sure she has blue eyebrows, which seems like a fun fashion choice however...

in some BTS pictures from Pam's instagram

it seems like Celci also has these blue coloured brows!

so what does that mean? in my mind, one of two things. either yes Dorene is Dark in a different body and Celci is connected to Celine. this matches with the ending where we see Ms Whitacre in the void telling us, in a very Darkiplier way, that we need to listen to her, and she thought we were better than this and asking us cryptic ass questions. plus insinuating that we've met before "you always were so stubborn".

OR Dorene is Celci from the future, coming back to try and fix things. this lines up with how Ms Whitacre talks about the leak in cryo. in one path of the "wake the crew" options, you wake each person only for them to glitch into Dorene, however when she appears in front of A.D.S, she doesn't have a very strong reaction, yet when she reappears in cryo, she seems very invested and has hella reactions. first when Mark asks if she has any experience, she dramatically says "oh no" almost denying she could possibly be Celci, as Mark explains there's a leak, she gasps and yells "the colonists!" and almost twitches around as if she knows she shouldn't of said that. this part lines up with Celci a lot, since her biggest concern is the colonists, as on the opposite 'wake the crew' path, we hear her explaining "someone has to put the colonists lives first and i guess that's gonna be me" plus through the pathways, she's the one always reminding us of the colonists.

also gonna throw my 2 cents in about Ms Dorene...

i've seen a bunch of people saying she could possibly be a manifestation of the house's energy (WKM)

soooo running with that thought, looking at her outfit-

we see:

the stars and seer vibes, echoing Celine from the manor

the pink gloves, that seem to match nothing else, maybe a call to wilford?

the broach, this one's a reach, but it's similar to Damien's mayor pin just a lil bit, like i say, a reach and a half!

also potentially Damien, the glasses, mainly the white, again matching nothing else, a call back to his shirt and/or rose we see in WKM

and finally the ring, again kinda out of nowhere, extremely similar, if not the same one we see actor wearing in the OTD 'ending' of Space.

just a fun thought! still not really sure who she is honestly
