Like, seriously, who had the bright idea that even though 'all men are created equal'...some are created more equal than others. What does that even mean? Society doesn't fucking get it... I could go on about how adorable gay couples are but I don't think that's really what this question is about. So I guess imma stop talking now."
"Wow, erm... this is a toughie. There's a lot that I can say about this topic but I'm not sure how to put it into words. Well, to start off, I do believe that people have some justification in saying that its wrong not to give life a chance....However, sometimes that life might be more painful than not living it. Being born into a situation where the mother was raped would mean a very hard life for the child from the start. The mother would be reminded of the terrible assault often when she thinks about her child. The baby would have to live with knowing they were the result of something upsetting. That might be much worse for the child than just not living that life. They would be ridiculed and their life would be painful. Another situation where I think abortion should be available is if the child or mother is in extreme risk with the pregnancy. An abortion can keep the mother well while not putting the baby and mother at risk. There are other situations though, where I feel like maybe abortion shouldn't be the correct option. But.... disallowing abortion for specific circumstances can become a slippery slope and ugh, politics."
