his head down, and cigarette dangling loosely from his mouth, axel made his away around the streets of seagrove. his back ached from the giant travelers backpack he had on, containing everything he owned. he was exhausted from the bus ride over, where the kid behind him wouldn’t stop crying. all he wanted to do was lay down and get some sleep, finally, but one more problem stood in his way: he didn’t know where the fuck he was.
“sorry, i’m lost,” he said, tapping the shoulder of the first person he came across. “can you help me find the ‘ grove cottage ’ ? ”
Phoenix was always distracted by some kind of literature, may it be a fiction book or a poem. She always zoned the world out around her to stay focused because she was prone to reading the same sentence over and over again when not. When she felt a tap on her shoulder, she closed the book slowly looking over towards the other. “It’s okay,” she smiled softly getting up. “Uh yeah, I was about to head back over there so I can just walk with you if you want,” she suggested putting her book in her purse adjusting the strap on her shoulder.
