A lab technician has been charged for infecting at least 30 people in New Hampshire with Hepatitis C.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed that David Kwiatkowski worked at a Philadelphia medical facility in 2010 for four weeks.

Take initiative and ask your doctor about Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), (and other diseases of the liver) so you can get screened for it.
HCV is a silent killer and its incidence has become higher than HIV.
AIDS EDUCATION MONTH
June is AIDS Education Month in Philadelphia and P-HOP has supported two events (sponsored by Philadelphia FIGHT) so far. The first was the 13th Annual Prevention and Outreach Summit on Thursday, June 14th and the other was the 10th Annual Prison Summit on Tuesday, June 19th. These events were held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Both these events were powerful and impactful. There were many lessons learned but the most vital lesson learned was that ALL of us are responsible to eradicate the stigma held against people with HIV/AIDS and those who have been released from prison. It needs to stop!

Just a few announcements about our HEPATITIS C SUPPORT GROUP! There are meetings every 3rd Wednesday each month from 1:00-2:30pm. All are Welcome!
