do you think phosphorus has an insane complex about his sense of identity. Since hes not alex sartorius anymore. i feel like hed be sort of terrified of / disgusted by remembering his life before his family were murdered even if he was remembering pleasant happy memories. like theyre not his to remember and hes some kind of peeping tom on his own life

and then (puts on my phosbride hat) i mean its the same for bride right in a weird warped way. the same in that its the perfect opposite she literally doesnt have a life before to remember. she did not exist before her trauma. but phos has a life to look back on a childhood happy years with his wife and son doing his dream research. but now its been soured and he cant think about it without feeling sick. i know they both pity each other and think the other has it worse I know it i knnnnnow it
