This flower needs to stop smoking, all that tar build up in the central organ is going to kill it.
Peach Perfect Mee-Mee-Mee-Meeee
You know that one flower that closes every party, tries every drink, jumps in the reflecting pool, dances for hours on end with everyone, scoops up the last of the hummus with her pinky, and still is at work bright as a tack the next morning.
Presumably a rose, by presumably any other name and color, would presumably smell as sweet. Presumably. Gotta wonder if they could breed roses to smell awful. You'd think, wouldn't you?
Humans build buildings taller and wider than a tornado. Humans make pools longer than a tall building. Humans can forcibly plant lavender (which this is not a picture of) in fields longer and wider than an airport runway.
Heliotrope, prime flower sponsor of the FIFA World Disaster Cup in North America. Also a bee. Heliotrope would be a good name for a solar panel installer.
Creeping bellflower which is highly invasive. Would you like tips on identifying other invasive species in your area? Like humans for example, which are highly invasive, quite disruptive to the environment and are now indigenous on 6 of the 7 continents though originating on a single continent.
Heliotrope. This plant is quite toxic, so don't eat it, and it can cause a rash if touched. Unfortunately this plant has a nice vanilla scent and is sometimes called the "cherry pie" plant which is a terrible name for it since cherry pie tastes delicious and wouldn't hurt you and cherry pie is a dark red.
I could devote a whole blog just to these flowers. Called a Spoon African Daisy because of its predilection for spooning other flowers and for making spoonerisms.
First there was monophonic, then stereo. Then they tried to sell us quadrophonic. Then there were tweeters and woofers and subwoofers. Now we've got gadgets (tvs, computers, phones) that come with some sort of random micro-speakers, and it's all fine.
Firefoxglove web browser, set up to service bees and other insects in their search for world wide web knowledge.
Climbers daring to climb high and far and wide, abroad and abeam, port and aft, in stereo and quadraphonic, from infrared to ultraviolet.
Blinded by the light Wrecked up like a douche in the middle of the night I never did understand that lyric, but, okay, if it works for you. Then I found out the real lyrics were Blinded by the light Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night And I still didn't understand the lyrics. I do understand "blinded by the light" as is illustrated in/by/of/to/for/with today's photograph
There's a rhododendron in there somewhere. Look around and I'm sure you'll find it.
It's been a while since we heard from the cafeteria at PBDJ Heavy Industries LLC in the Chicago Loop near the Medieval Torture Museum and Hot Dog Stand. The cafeteria is open 7am to 7am, 7 days a week, 7 months per 7 months time. In other words, the cafeteria is a perfect 7 on a 7 point scale, where 7 is the lowest value and 7 is the highest value.
Mo better Bush Lily. In case you hadn't realized, and I realize it was the case that you probably hadn't, or you were a hard case and didn't care, but in case you did and weren't, and I wanted you to know, that this series of flower pictures were taken at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, Parking Lot, Cafeteria, Walking Path, Construction Zone and Botanic Garden.
