I’m working on a documentary photography project at the moment. Horse racing is followed by 800 000 finns yearly at the race tracks. It doesn’t include tv- and remote gaming like kiosk and the internet, making us fifth biggest horse racing country in Europe. A race is held every day of the year except Christmas eve and Chrismas day.

It didn't snow yet...

But local sport club Valkealan Kajo, stored over 5000 cubic meters of snow under a layer of sawdust trough the summer. When the weather allowed building a track, they layed a kilometer of it by the running track at Valkeala, Finland. Some just can't wait to go skiing.
