After a summer of doing absolutely nothing and a semester full of productive work, I decided that I want to remain productive over my winter break – hence my 75 days productivity. In order to keep myself on track, I’ve written out a list of books I’ve been meaning to read and dates to read them by, and thought I would share them here to keep myself accountable and also encourage people to read along with me, if you so desire! Here’s my list, with the dates I intend to read them by. About half of these are rereads (marked with a *) but they’re all things I’ve been meaning to read for a long time, and now seems like the perfect time.
*Signora da Vinci by Robin Maxwell - 24 December 2020
*The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco - 1 January 2021
*The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - 8 January 2021
The Plague by Albert Camus - 15 January 2021
If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio - 21 January 2021
We the Drowned by Carsten Jensen - 31 January 2021
I Promissi Sposi/The Betrothed by Alessandro Mazoni - 16 February
*Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne - extra, to fit in between any of these, if possible
In any case, if you want to join me for the entire run or just one book, I would be delighted. I’ve made a discord server if you want to discuss them with me or others, though I will probably make posts while reading with reviews and quotes and things like that.
Happy holidays to everyone and happy reading ❦
