When I drink beer alone at bia hơi in Vietnam, Vietnamese ppl always say hello to me.
“Come here!”
And I joined them, eating and talking and laughing. It’s sooooooo fun!
From my experience, most of ppl only speak Vietnamese. I can’t speak Vietnamese. But it doesn’t matter.
They are so friendly 🤗 Thank you all 🥰

Hanoi beer or Saigon beer?
It’s the last night in Hanoi. We didn’t have much cash of Vietnam DON. But the area we were walking was completely deference to old quarter. There’re less street foods. You can see the foreign affiliated companies a lot there. It means everything are high prices.
Then we finally found the one. And celebrate our last night with beer.
Btw, Hanoi beer is like, Japan’s Okinawa beer “Olion beer”. Tastes very light.
Saigon beer is like Japan’s KIRIN beer. It’s lager beer, tastes bit bitter.
I like both 😄😆😝

These are amazing. I’ve never seen those wonderful, kinda mixed cultures Buddhist statues before.
I’ve seen many Buddhist statues in my life around the world. But they are so unique. I mean, I can see various periods’ statues at the same place. It is like seeing Vietnamese history.

When I am about to leave, found something, which is moving. I looked at them closely… then realized it’s larva!!
I screamed 😬😱😵💫?! All of them laughed and said this is yummy.
I declined to eat it, took photos instead.
Seems ppl in village are so close. They get along together.

He offered to sell it to me. It’s good value, really. But I was thinking 🤔 I really need this? Do I have a room for it in my suite case. Then I didn’t buy.
But still thinking, like should’ve bought it???
