what's the ratio of parents to kids? does it vary? or is it equal, like 3 parents = 3 kids?

It can vary like 3=>2 or 2=1 but i guess it can equal too//

are there ever offpsring from more than one different kind of piankha?

I guess you can get a whole bunch of different kinds as a result? Like for example you can get a bunch of 5 nymphs from one reburning and the ration of the different types basically equals their ancestors? ( two Vicen and Luma parents= two Vicen and luma the rest you feel?)

after a piankha/group of them does the inceneration ritual and such, who's the one who usually deals with the ashes/egg/incubation/etc?

The incubator workers mostly//. You can conect them to a sort of nursing units that take care ocf the second reburning ( to create the egg/s from the ashes) and caring for the eggs in the incubator. After hatching, nymphs then move on to “kindergarden” of sorts and raises them in a way/. The more developed nymphs then can choose to follow the jobs of their ancestors and thus sorta finishing the circle/. They can choose to do other things but then again they have the talents for the jobs already in them in a way so its not that common/

how long can piankhas live? w/o reburning?

I mean if they arent ill or wounded I’d say much longer than humans can// ( id say around 200+ human years at some instances but the long lived ones are rather rare tbh//) Also their age is counted differently/ like Noone is technically 9 y.o in their measurements and 18 in classic human years hh/

oh!! another question, do they have specific name styles/naming systems? do they have multiple names or just the one?

Ohh good question//

They have usually two to three names/. Firstly the one given by their ancestors( the couple or multiple romantically involved individuals ready to pass on their life force by reburning/). For example Noone is a combination of Noer(1.parent) and Onera (2.parent). Her second name, Alecra, is basically a surname that her parents shared ( like it usually is//). I should also add on that the more parental units reburning themself creates more ofspring/. Your piankha thus can have many siblings or none at all//( the new kids thus get combinations of the names their parents had/)

They mostly relate to eye/wings/antenae colors// each type has specific common hues and colors//

Id say they can wear whatever you technically imagine as fantasy clothing though the head wear is important in the society as a whole// If you want a lil more specific details id say feel free to use looser fabrics and eye related patterns and details/// Also to note not every peep of the species has bad eyesight ( so they dont have to wear glasses if you dont want them too// Colors can be contrasting but u can also choose the clothing colors that compliment their complexion and detail colors Also if you make one please feel free to tag me in the post and maybe credit the species to me//
