"Oscar Piastri needs a hug," reads one of the tags. YES, Oscar thinks, how did you know that?
The start to the fic is cute, if a little strange to be reading about himself in third person narrative. And the story isn't entirely accurate because as much as he wishes it did happen, Oscar doesn't remember Lando hugging him this intensely after the Monaco 2024 Grand Prix. For a moment he's confused, then he has to remind himself it's fanfiction.
Monaco 2025, however?
That hug is still at the forefront of his mind. He wants to go back to that moment and relive it over and over again. Maybe the author will have written about it in a later chapter in this story! And he can read more about Lando hugging him! What more could he want? The only thing better would be Lando actually physically hugging him.
