"I don't care if my robot wins or loses as long as he has fun"
One thing i can say about my robotics camps are that most of the kids are really sweet, In my camps I've been amazed at how polite and friendly the kids are (most of the time) to not only me but the other kids too! They are always encouraging each other and helping each other with their robots, it's awesome to see them working together and it gives me hope for a much friendlier generation :)
-Cara
so im back at the whitney pier site for some more Sydney camps! this camp was fun and the kids were awesome, all they wanted to do was battle their robots and they had an awesome time! Here's a little clip from their "tournament"
:)

Heres a few pictures from the robotics camps in north Sydney Millville and south side Boularderie! I had fun this past week on the north side helping out with these robotics camps with Shannon Rosalee and Kristianne, the kids were awesome and they enjoyed working with the robots. It feels a little weird to not have a camp today, but I'm liking the peace and quiet for sure! -Cara :)
So pretty much I've been doing robotics camps robotics camps and more robotics camps.. Safe to say I somewhat have the hang of it, I love seeing the kids who get really excited about their robots and want to show them off to their parents. Although sometimes wrangling the kiddos can be pretty tiring its things like this picture that makes my day :) -cara
Week two!
This Week I started the first of my robotics camps! Although it was difficult at first I quickly got the hang of it. Some of the kids are better at building the robots than I am! They loved being able to build it on their own and creating their own team logo for the printer, this past week has been pretty fun and I'm ready for more robotics camps :) -Cara, Whitney Pier intern :)
This week I started as a summer intern in the Whitney Pier Cap site. So far I have built robots learned how to use the programs and had tons of fun! Today we were at the mayflower mall for grading day doing some face painting and showing off our 3d printer and robotix kits which everyone seemed even more amazed at then I first did! Even though it's only been a few days here I already met some awesome people and can tell that this summer is gonna be a good one!
Abby and the other kids from the Whitney Pier Youth Club came over to personalize some beach towels. They had so much fun, a few of them asked if they could come every week! :)
