Pika Number (pick a number) is a drawing challenge I (Feathercatch) am undertaking. It's simple! A lovely individual other than myself picks a random number between 001 and 719. I then promptly draw the pokemon who's national dex number matches that number. No excuses. No exceptions. No re-picks! I suppose a goal of sorts will be to draw every pokemon to date. We'll see. Aurous 699 - Pika Number Challenge!

They spend much of their life in the darkness of the northern tundra. The harsh environments these sauropods call home leave ice crystals along their feathered bodies. They use their sharp claws to dig through the layers of snow and frozen earth in order to feed rather than for defense. Communication with other Auroruses is achieved through shifting the colors on their beautiful, glowing sails and vocalizing in singing cries, kin to that of a whale’s.
