I finally finish it ! *dead*
First at all, I made the sketch in paper, then scanned it, then changed a lot of things until the final line. I believed I’ll be a real mess ... but I ended liking it. ^^
And yuuup ! it’s soft NSFW :D I know, I rarely draw this type of art, but ... gosh it was so fun to do ! (Mayyyybe I’ll draw it again ... later).
Anyway, As I say before , I want to improve myself with digital drawing, so I wanna draw a lot including Heartstring and others fanarts. They’ll have also traditional drawings too, I’m so inspired ! :D
I want to draw my favorite ships in fandoms, so let’s start with our glorious serie : Ripper Street (ooooh what a surprise lol) ... and our lovely / tulmutuous - but not less loved - Jackson and Susan. And YES ! I wanted to draw them in my 21th century !AU, as well as before they were still Matthew and Caitlin and I don’t regret it ... sorry not sorry ^^
So here’s a little headcanon to fit them (nevermind if it doesn’t follow the serie’s canon) : After leaving the military, Matthew had severals jobs (like dustman, pizza deliver, mechanic ...), but one of them leaded him to his future wife. Indeed, for a short moment, he worked as a security guard for private club which was lead and frequent by rich people ... and it was there that Theodore Swift, owner of one of the most important oil company of the country, spot the young man and proposed him a more interesting - and better paid - job : being his daughter’s “bodyguard”, which meant he had to follow / accompanied her everywhere she goes and made a report to him. Matthew, who was often broke (his current job didn’t pay him correclty) and needed more money to live, accepted. This is how he met Swift’s daughter, Caitlin, who the father presented (reading imposed) him to her. At the beginning, their relationship was - well - tensed : Cailtlin made her new “bodyguard” understand that she needn’t him, thanks you very much; and Matthew thought she was just a stupid spoiled brat. But time passed, and after rubbing shoulders with the Swift family, and seing all their flaws (Theodore who does anything but care about his daugther, and his wife who finds comfort with cheap wine bottles), Matthew began to understand Caitlin and the two came closer with time ... despite their age gap (at that time, Catty was still in highschool while Matt is in his mid-twenties) and the contract the young man had with Swift. Thanks to her “bodyguard”, Caitlin began to discover what’s the real world and made things she would never do normally (as smoking or going to pubs), breaking all the laws her sire made for her; as for Matthew, despite having a lot of flings / one night stand / short relationships in his life, he found a real balance with this young woman, who was different from the other ones. Being at first best friends, the two of them will become lovers. They succeeded to keep it as a secret to everyone (Matthew’s mother never accepted her son would work for such a stupid rich family), by making everything is normal in front of them, and letting out their true nature once everyone has their back turned. But unfortunately, it didn’t take long for Swifft to figure out that his offspring and his employee had an affair ... He confronted Matthew, saying him he’s a good-for-nothing traitor, and fired him immediately telling him to never approach Caitlin anymore. Matthew just grinned and told him that the man is just a “bitter old jerk who needs to control everyone to have a sense in his life ... no surprised his wife drinks a lot.” It results with Swift punching him to his face. Anyway, despite not allowed to work for the family anymore, Matthew and Caitlin still pursued their relationship and kept going to see aech other in secret. The rest is history. ;)
They used to see each others in differents places that only them knew. But it ended very often by Matthew climbing into Caitlin’s bedroom and having quality time together. But there, it takes place into Matthew’s flat : Caitlin probably came at his flat in early hours (before going to highschool) just to spend some time with her lover.

And I wanted to try new type of shading (it killed me damn it) and toy with light effects (well, quite messy and failed). I need progress lol.
