Drug Abuse
Ok soo for about 3+ years I was heavily abusing drugs, Preferably opiates and Xanax. But honestly didn't care what it was, I was doing everything. I thought I was doing it for all the right reasons (boredom, for fun,) and not to suppress my emotions, but that was totally bull shit. Well actually, I was doing it just for fun for a majority of the time. It wasn't till around being 19 where I would pop bars every time I got mad, or thought I needed something to calm down. Basically I stopped popping bars in February or march. I was so trashed I don't even remember entirely which month. I relapsed once but only because my friend just so happen to have one. Honestly, the thought of popping a bar never popped up in my head after. But although I almost completely stopped my drug use (except cannabis which I don't consider a drug), I love to take opiates when there around. Now I don't take them in any where near an amount where I or really anyone can say I'm abusing them. Ok maybe and occasional one or two month bing but stopping for months after.
My question to you guys is, how do you relate mental illness to drug abuse?
Best of both worlds 👾
