⭐ Honoring Nut ⭐
These are some of my favorite ways to honor our Queen of the Starry Sky, Mistress of All. They’re all quite easy and will make any Nut worshipper feel closer to Her. ⭐ Sit outside at night. The least complex way to feel close to Nut is to literally sit beneath Her! If you can’t be outdoors, sit near an open window. Feel the light of the moon on your skin. Make sure you know when Super Moons are happening for extra blessed opportunities! ⭐ Blow little kisses to the sky when She crosses your mind. ⭐ Learn about Her history - such as Her brother, Geb, and Her children, Osiris, Set, Isis, Horus and Nephthys. Knowing the pantheon is like meeting the family! ⭐ Keep moonstone near to fill with your devotional intent. Moonstone is known for its ability to maintain balance and peace. ⭐ Write Her poems, draw art of how you picture Her, or take photos of the sky at its most beautiful. Meditate with Her. Dedicate something relaxing in Her name. ⭐ Cut stars from paper and stick them around your altar, your bed, or where ever you feel safest. ⭐ Burn some vanilla and/or sandalwood incense; both invoke the moon. ⭐ Honestly, just sit with Her. I sit with Her in the evenings and devote the first sip of my sleep-time tea to her, and then chat to her about my day if I feel the desire to. She’s always listening. She loves you. You are good enough for Her.

Excerpt From the Kemetic Prayer Book
From A Prayer To Set for Protection in a Foreign Land
“If ever I did please you,
With a laugh or a hug
Or my mere presence,
Small though it is
In light of your brilliant glory,
I pray to you,
Protect me from injury and assault.”
The super serious Kemetic cheat sheet
(Disclaimer: this is my UPG and is actually not that serious at all.)
-All cows are Hathor and yes she licked the bread, that’s her bread now give it to her. Also she updated your dating profile and thinks you look lovely in that new outfit you bought. She’s so warm and happy you can’t help but smile.
-Isis is a dragon and yes she wants all the pretty things and a personal fountain with lovely flowers and yessssss she loves that necklace, it’s her’s now. In thanks she helped that awesome spell you were working on work ten times as well and you suddenly have a huge confidence boost and feel like you can take on the world.
-If it’s red it belongs to Set, if he sees it it belongs to him, that pizza in the fridge? That’s his too. Also your hat is on fire, your welcome (it was hideous anyway)
-Sobek saw you glance at that fitness page. He’ll see you at the gym on Monday. Also drink more water and here’s a baby crocodile to inspire you to get ripped.
-Anubis randomly appears and stares. He says nothing but your can feel his gaze. You suddenly are hyper-aware of your entire life and impending doom. Then it’s gone. He’ll take a piece of your steak at dinner for his help.
-FATHERLY SCREECH OF ASSISTANCE Heru-wer heard you were feeling down and has come to cheer you up with dad jokes and coffee. Come to the nest of blankets and tell him about your day.
-All cats are Bast. Is this pretty thing on your altar for her? Great! It’s on the floor now. She loves you though and if anyone hurts her kitten… she makes sure they’re dealt with. If you are feeling down she will purr away your troubles.
-Hello, Thoth is here to help you with your essay. What an interesting subject! Here are some websites that have tons of info about the thing but you’ll get so deep into reading all the wonderful new info you’ll forget about your essay all together. Also he snuck a bite of Set’s pizza when no one was looking and wow! Look at the time! He’s gone.

My Death Witch/Spirit Worker Masterpost
Hey everyone! This is my list of resources I have made over the course of the existence of this blog, pertaining specifically to death witchcraft and spirit work. (EDIT: I also added divination because it is such a vital part of my own practice) I hope it helps some of you, and provides a resource for you to use! I’ve also thrown in my death work stuff as well. These posts are all mine, coming from separate blogs at times ( @shipping-the-gods , @the-daily-diviner, and @tarnished-headstone (@witchthatiam/@lonesome-bones are the names of this blog from a while ago)); none of these blogs are active. The only blogs I am active on are @shroud-of-roses and @breathing-in-gilded-dust (dodekatheism blog).
Please note you can do these three practices individually, I just choose to put them together for my own personal practice! Pick what you like and use it if you desire.
Thanks,
Olivia

Beltane in Lockdown and Quarantine
Beltane is in about a week and as most of us realized right now, most of as are going to spend Beltane inside in quarantine. I though I would write a small post to give you some ideas to celebrate at home.
Baking
To me this is the easiest way to celebrate Beltane while locked inside. I gather some recipes that need few ingredients.
Beltane Oats and Honey Scones
Beltane Tea Potion
Beltane Breakfast
Beltane honey-lemon vanilla madeleines
Sweet Earl Grey Lavender Ice Cream with a Blackberry swirl You will need an Ice cream maker for this one!
BELTANE STRAWBERRY LEMON PASSION BARS
Beltane Sangria
House Cleaning
You can easily incorporate cleaning into a very simple ritual, especially on a sabbath day.
Light a candle
When you clean, be mindful on how you feel. Try to be grateful of your house and imagine that you are getting rid of all the bad energies
Open the windows if possible to let all the good things come into your life and your home
When you are done, take a few big breath and thanks your home for all the good things it brings you
Light an incense stick and let it burn a bit in every room for a final cleanse
Leave an offering to the faeries
If you have a garden or during a stroll (while respecting social distancing) you can leave a bit of milk and honey for the fae! It is there celebration day too, they will appreciate!
Yoga
Try to do a few sun salutation right after getting out of bed. Dedicate your practice to your deities if you have some or just for to Spring that is in full swing right now.
Here is another great post of what to do for Beltane in Quarantine or Quarantane
Some great ideas for the witches in quarantine and the spoonies over here!
An other great Ask about what to do for Beltane in quarantine here too!
Also, I am sure it can help some people around here:

There is plenty of other activities to do, if you wish you can add them too after this post! Let’s gather a great list to celebrate, the quarantine will not stop us! <3
Blessed Be!

Norse Tea Bundles!
We finally have enough teas in our shop, The Northern Herbalist, to offer tea bundles, which are perfect for trying new teas!
Each bundle includes 0.5 oz each of 3 to 5 different teas from the shop. They are designed to provide loose-leaf samples at discounted bundle rates, but if certain bundles prove to be popular, we’ll add a larger size option that will include 1 oz of each tea from the bundle.
We’ve got 4 different bundles to start with, but more will come as new teas are added to the shop:
Magic Tea Bundle
This bundle brings together the magically-inclined teas from our shop: Wanderer’s Blend, Seidr Spell, and Freyja’s Warmth (Herbal). Those familiar with Norse lore will already know that Odin, to whom Wanderer’s Blend is dedicated, is a practitioner of a special type of northern magic known as seiðr, which is represented here by the tea Seidr Spell. But who taught Odin this magic? None other than the goddess Freyja herself, of course, and so she is represented here by the herbal tea Freyja’s Warmth.
Loki Tea Bundle
This bundle brings together all of the Loki-related teas from our shop: Loki’s Blend, Lokasenna Brew (Green), and Lokasenna Brew (Black).
Herbal Tea Bundle
This bundle brings together all of the herbal teas from our shop: Frigg’s Comfort (Herbal), Freyja’s Warmth (Herbal), and Baldr’s Brow (Herbal).
Sample Tea Bundle
This bundle features 5 teas from our shop that aren’t already included in any other bundles: Freyr’s Harvest, Freyja’s Warmth, Thor’s Earth, Frigg’s Comfort, and Bragi’s Brew.
Feel free to check out the bundles section of our shop to see them all and check for future bundles!
Have a suggestion for a new bundle? Let us know!
