I think I want to try posting my thoughts about tv shows/movies again.

Didn't really get into before, also covid has made it hard to watch anything, so a lot of what I used to watch I kind of stopped. But would like to try finish them, just need to push through the covid storylines.

Tv Shows

So it’s a new year now and many more shows seem to be returning/starting after being delayed. my problem with shows now, not all of course... is that storylines have been built around what is going on in the real world and why I do get why but it’s still annoying. Many people would turn to shows to tune out the real world and just chill out with their favourite characters and have some peace... that’s gone. Storylines have changed to work in the real life situation, so now we are missing out on how these shows were planned to be before that happened, with some shows being in their final season so we also miss out on those final storylines... it’s put me off wanting to watch some that I really did like before. Hopefully there are many good new shows coming out this year and returning ones don’t disappoint.

the walking dead.

Well the walking dead is back and i’m so freaking happy. the final episode of season 10... the new spin off world beyond.... next week fear is back, along with talking dead of course, can’t watch a walking dead show without talking dead. *contains spoilers* was a good ending to, not going to lie i thought a lot of people were going to die, i was prepared as well as i could be for several deaths. but no, it was good. negan helped save them again, maggie is back, judith wasn’t in the episode much but she should always get a mention because she is judith. that group that surrounded eugene and co though oooh, that definitely seems like the threat for next season, but also maybe not either way will be good. everyone is asking how maggie will deal with negan... but also how is that going to play out with the relationships between the others. i guess it’s all apart of how she will deal, but she will be so mad for a bit but hopefully she is still in a place where she trusts the others judgement on how negan is now and she wont kill him straight away, but she will for sure be watching him as expected, with her new ninja friend haha. Right so, world beyond. it’s the first episode so not expecting it to be amazing straight away, but i like the idea and i feel it will get to the being good stage it’ll just take time, how much time who knows, could be next episode now that they are out in the world or could be mid way into the season. it’s a fresh take on the universe, seeing the world with the kids and how they will deal with things. i’m definitely excited for it. and also fear next week i’m excited for that to. just so much excitement, i love the series and i’m so happy it’s back.

Finally watching season 4, just in time for season 5 to start soon. first episode was confusing, i was like is this hinting a new spin off but then in time it made sense. only about 5 episodes in and it’s been good so far.

My top tv list right now

Best shows i’m watching at the moment are definitely Wynonna Earp with it now being in season 4. Wentworth in season 8 and two surprising ones both are new series and half hour episodes, they are Little Voice and United We Fall. I find it hard to find a good half hour show, so i hope those stick around for more then a season But also Wynonna Earp i freaking love that show. wentworth, also love.. but also kinda annoyed they brought the freak back.

Heartbreak

This is different to the tv related stuff i usually post about, when i do actually post. So I’m not sure i even want to put this out there but i also feel i want to let it out somehow. How does one deal with grief of a pet you have had for 20 years, the most perfect cat i could have ever dreamed of calling mine she really was the perfect pet for me. I got her when i was 10, technically my sister chose her but she chose me. They say you can’t have a bond with a cat like you can with dogs, but ohh they are wrong... she would often only come when i called her name, she would only purr when she was cuddling with me and she would only cuddle with me, she knew when i was sad and how to cheer me up just as i knew when she wasn’t doing well.... that isn’t even mentioning it all I had to say goodbye to her in may, a few weeks later I couldn’t deal with crying anymore so I would just not think about her for longer then thinking her name in my head. But now it’s just coming up again and i keep loosing it, like my brain is in emotional overload or something and i just can’t control it anymore. For 20 years, she was my life and my heart and now she is gone. I just feel so empty, she is no longer here physically but she will always be with me. Coco I miss you.

The Bold Type

Alright so i’m just going to let out some thoughts about episode 15, it’ll just be about suttons storyline. I’ll start with saying yes i believe before you marry someone the wanting kids is definitely a conversation you need to have, of course there is always a a chance you might not be certain but it is still an important conversation. But it seems people are angry about it, why? because she is a woman she is supposed to want to have kids? Because she was happy she was pregnant and then all of a sudden felt the complete opposite? And people seem to think richard suggesting they have kids and he do all the work as a bad thing... Let me explain how i took that, so he knows she loves her job and i feel he was just putting it out there like if her not being able to work was a factor in her not wanting kids then there could be a solution to that, which i think is where richard saying he would do all the work came from it was just to let her know that she could still do her job IF that was a big part of her choice to not wanting kids. I don’t think it was meant in a negative way. I myself have dealt with so many people not understanding why i didn’t want kids for most of my life, it just wasn’t for me and for whatever reason people didn’t get that, they would be like oh your young you’ll change your mind. So i would be like maybe i will or maybe i wont, but right now i really don’t want it and that is fine, i don’t need to have kids just because i’m a woman and i don’t know why it needs to bother you.... But then something happened and now i feel the complete opposite which is also ok. So to people who don’t understand how sutton could of been happy about being pregnant and then being so sure she doesn’t want kids, maybe it’s something you can only go through to understand, but either way it is ok for a woman to not want to have kids. Which also leads to it is also ok that richard left because of that because as much as she says she doesn’t want them he does, and since he is older as he said he can’t stay to risk that and what kind of relationship would it turn into. If he stayed spending years secretly hoping she would feel differently, which could lead to her still not wanting them he would resent her and they would probably break up anyway so why not do it early on when it’s a little easier. But also sutton saying nothing has changed i feel was a little immature of her, of course things have changed it’s a big deal especially if the other person wants kids so badly which was the case. It still felt like she wanted him to stay of course i get you’re in love you don’t want to break up but what else can you do in that situation you can’t expect them to stay. Well i think i have said enough on that so lets see what happens to the story in the future, i believe there is 1 episode left of the season and then wait to see if there will be a season 5.

Blood and Water

I’m about to start the 3rd episode of blood and water there is only 6 episodes, it’s currently 10pm and i’m considering watching all, sleep can wait.

I barely saw anything about it before i started it, but i did see it was inspired by a true story, i love movies that are based on true stories and have always wished there was more tv series like that.

Wentworth

So I'm I think 5 episodes into season 7 of Wentworth and as always it has not disappointed.

It was supposed to be the last season and I put off watching it for the longest time and obviously reading anything about it... To now find out it's not actually being cancelled anymore and there is another 2 more seasons until it ends so that's cool.

Council of Dads

Council of Dads is a new drama series, there has only been 2 episodes so i’m still learning names but I am already loving it and feels like it has a lot of potential to be a really great feel good show and could go far if they keep it right. I’m excited to continue watching this and seeing where it goes, in the second episode already has a plot twist which being this early on you just know it will play a massive part in the story. Also just want to add, you know how you watch something and you are like ohh it’s this person from that show they played that character that i hated/loved and for the longest time that’s the only character you see them as. Not going to lie but Sarah Wayne Callies is that for me, she played Lori Grimes in The Walking Dead and I did not like her(Lori) at all and when the character died it was happy days. Honestly though I haven’t seen much, if anything that Sarah Wayne Callies has been in so it makes sense that i still see her as Lori. But actually that feeling went away pretty quickly in the first episode of Council of Dads so that is good that I can just see her as playing Robin and enjoy the show properly without remembering that I still hate Lori(even though she and shane who I also hate, had a baby together which is the amazing Judith Grimes) hahah.  *fingers crossed this doesn’t get cancelled, without giving it a good chance first.

Regrets

It was like 12am and I decided then to finally start watching the last season of Jessica Jones, I knew I'd regret it and not want to sleep and just binge it all.

Well I was right, I finished the 2nd episode and pulled myself away to go to bed.

Though I will say I should have re watched the previous season because I forgot what happened.

Trish has always annoyed me for some reason, so this season should be interesting... What even are her powers or whatever anyway she hasn't done anything yet. It is only the second episode though so I guess that'll come in time.

I currently feel it shouldn't have been cancelled, it's one of the better Marvel shows I've seen yet it gets axed, it's usually what happens.

That's why it's taken me so long to watch it, just didn't want it to be over yet

It’s been a while

I haven’t done this in ages, I’m not a pro writer or anything but just wanted a place to let out my TV emotions haha so I thought i’d get back into it with my favourite show, The Walking Dead. ~~SPOILERS~~ So I just watched the last 2 episodes (season 10 - 12 & 13) and OMFG I can’t even I am so excited that Negan killed alpha, I don’t read the comics but obviously the internet you see things and I read Negan kills her but the show doesn’t always go along with the comics so I don’t pay much attention. However even though I hated Negan... loved to hate him, I knew he hadn’t gone back to his darker side he just wanted to be apart of the community like everyone else and him saving Lydia although that wasn’t surprising and then killing alpha would be the perfect way to get people to see that. I will say I didn’t expect carol to be in on it, Negan is smart so you could totally believe him thinking of a plan by himself. Also the way he kills her was the perfect way. I can’t wait to see how that unfolds, seeing the group finding out alpha is dead and that it was Negan and carol who planned it, then beta because omg beta is going to hunt them so the war is most definitely not over. It would also be interesting to see how many people follow beta, just like it was interesting to see how many people came over from Negans group back when he was in charge. Oh and also cailey fleming who plays JUDITH IS F***ING AMAZING and that is all that needs to be said. Ok so now for the Michonne episode. She has been one of my favourite characters from the early days, basically since she first appeared I just loved her, so I am sad to see the character leave. But I am happy her story ended the way it did for the tv series. I wasn’t even worried when she got locked in the room because you just know she was going to get out. Her getting drugged was the perfect weapon to use on her as well to keep her weak and out of it for a while, especially after killing all those walkers solo, which of course we knew she could. Her being evil michonne I could totally see that as a possibility because of how badass she is, but glad that wasn’t what actually happened. The scene where she finds ricks boots was just so well done, after needing to put that wanting to find anything of his for the longest time to become the leader and mum she needed to be, to let all that out once she saw the boots and then the picture on the phone. Of course she had to tell judith about it, then judith being like you need to go what if he needs help. Ugh i’m not one to cry in tv/movies but that whole convo I felt like I could have. This season has truly been amazing and I feel like it is just getting better and better, the feel of it has changed and brought something that was definitely needed to make it feel fresh and get everyone excited again. Also loved that talking dead couldn’t be in the studio but know how much we love that to and did it by webcam just for us, because it is apart of walking dead, at least for me I can’t watch walking dead unless I can watch talking dead straight after.

Want to start getting into writing my feelings about shows, it’s the reason I made this page. Have a bunch of new shows on my list so will start with those after I catch up on some of the older ones first, forever trying to catch up on shows. Just so behind because I have been for whatever reason watching grey’s anatomy, currently on season 14 with that and putting that on hold until I catch up on the others.

I finally finished.. - fear the walking dead and talking dead. Just so I could be up to date with the walking dead, I hate how they tell us who is leaving now it ruins it for me when watching because i’m every time I see them on screen I wonder if this is it. - light as a feather season 2. Guess i’ll keep watching it if it gets renewed but seems like it’ll feel like it’s dragging on real quick. - 13 reasons why. Bit over that to, can’t even remember how it ended so can’t really say much more about it. - no good nick. It’s alright I guess, need more short shows so will continue watching it until I give up on it or it gets cancelled. - Raising dion. I liked this yea it was another supernatural type show but felt like a new idea was very refreshing to be honest almost finished the season in the one day. When you have other shows out there in the supernatural genre dragging on or being connected in some way so to watch this one you should watch the other one kind of thing that can be very annoying. So it’s just nice to have something new that feels different, I hope it will be renewed if it hasn’t already (I haven’t looked it up yet). Things I’m excited to watch... - Walking dead. - Van helsing. - New amsterdam - The good doctor - 9-1-1 - The resident Final shows I need to watch.. - Wentworth - Jessica Jones - iZombie - Orange is the new black - The good place Currently Watching... - Instinct - Chesapeake shores - Heartland - The rookie - FBI - Single parents - Bob hearts abishola A new show called Almost Family seems like the exact story line of a show that came out in 2017 called Sisters (AU) so will be checking that one out.

Never going to catch up on all the tv shows I have.

I really should start watching things so I can post my thoughts about them.

Still haven't even caught up on Empire, I think the thing putting me off watching it, is because they cancelled star when personally I think they should have cancelled empire. Yes I'm still mad about it.

There's so many other shows I need to catch up on, but instead of doing that I started Grey's anatomy just started the 4th season and I like it, it's not my favourite doctor type show but it's good to watch and at this stage I'll continue to watch it, but there is something like 16 seasons so I could give up on it at some point.

I still have so much TV to catch up, so instead of doing that I find something else that I can binge and then be even more behind.
