Magic (poem)
Forevermore I find myself
In awe of the world
The way light flickers
Through stain glass windows
And pours onto the floor
A weeping willow wallowing
In a summers evening breeze
Fireflies all dancing
In the grass between the trees
Magic is truly everywhere
If you know where to look
In an old historic building
Or a really thrilling book
I find magic in each moment
I get to spend with you
From silly texts to evening calls
Or sleepy afternoons
I don’t know what the future holds
Or where I will go next
But I’m glad our paths have crossed
Even if only for a moment
