I’ve been realizing uh…a pattern with the intelligence levels of some of the people on this island. So I shouldn’t say I’m surprised someone said that to you. Besides, who needs classic literature anyways when the movie adaptations exist, am I right?

The fact that you've only been here a few months and you've already noticed a pattern worries me a little. today while I was at work a customer came in and asked me if we carried the "book that was based off of The Great Gatsby movie." And then when I tried to tell him the book was written years before the movie came out, he looked at me as if I was the stupid one. So this is me, hoping someone can come and restore my faith in people.
