#feeding her is so impossible #she comes off the nipple and then fights me when putting her back on #the hospital grade breast pump at least works but my supply is so low that i'm barely expressing 10 mL in 20 minutes of pumping #she's hungry all the time and already on double doses of formula #And because she can smell my milk ALL THE TIME she refuses to settle for hours when I'm settling her #but will settle in 5 minutes when James tries #feelin' useless 2016 #sarah procreates

I have a 9 day old.

I honestly feel like it has been way longer (3 hour sleep cycles will do that) but also feel like it's been no time at all. I've never been so tired. She also struggles with feeding but that's more my fault than hers because apparently I have a low supply (aka useless tits) She is really inquisitive for a newborn and loves looking around. She isn't quite playful yet but seems to enjoy kisses and settling time with dad. She is around champion farter, And she loves her hands to the point that feeding her is around nightmare because as soon as the nipple or bottle slips away, her hands make her way in. She's still tiny: newborn stuff doesn't fit because she's too small. Her eyes are blue and her hair is fair like my dad's. I'm really excited to see how her features change.

Where Could Life Exist?

When NASA scientists announced earlier this year that they had found evidence of liquid water on Mars, imaginations ran wild with the possibility that life could exist somewhere other than here on Earth.

Scientists continue to explore the possibility that Mars once looked a lot like Earth — salty oceans, fresh water lakes, and a water cycle to go with it. That’s exciting stuff.

So where else are they looking? What exactly are they looking for?

There are nine places in our universe where scientists say life is a possibility. The locations range from a smoking hot planet like Venus to a moon that orbits Saturn called Enceladus, which looks a lot like a massive, tightly-packed ball of ice.

All of these places show signs that water is, or at least was, a possibility. They also appear to feature some kind of energy that could produce heat.

Ok but imagine McGonagall in cat form prowling around the castle, in strategically chosen places so that Umbridge will come across her.

Umbridge takes the cat back to her office and feeds it a little saucer of milk. The cat starts coming back to Umbridge’s office around the same time every night, until eventually Umbridge gets into a little routine of setting out a saucer of milk for the cat before bed. McGonagall now has all the best secrets on Umbridge, all of the results of the evaluations, and most importantly, is in a perfect position to spy on the ministry for the Order of the Phoenix.

All because Umbridge is obsessed with cats.
